Please remove the "try again" option if the main point of the game is to die, upgrade and repeat. Especially considering this just wiped the earned gold aswell. Some kind of progression through the game would be nice. New scenery and enemy variations (random waves) would really make this game alot better. Last but not least i feel that the prices and/or earned money is a bit off and takes too long to grind. 3/5 and i'm willing to come back to raise it

at start it's a bit boring, but the more you play, the better it becomes, and there is strategy, you have to switch your soldiers to ajust to enemies's weakness

When i saw the upgrades at first i was so happy becvause i though they were infinite upgrades so I could make goblins with ridiculously high defense until they invincible. oh well...good game 4/5

Hotkeys would be awesome! That's the only new thing I can say, and I can support what the top rated comments here say. Other than all that, this game has great potential

I can't get the last achievement of "Fully Upgrading My Army" because I beat the final boss and I cant earn anymore gold.

There is certainly strategy in this game - unit purchases, upgrading, placement, switching, timing, etc. The problem is that you don't really have much strategy until midway through the game. This could probably be alleviated by altering unit costs and gold gain so the first part is less grindy.

I've never been a fan of the "grindfest" genre of games, and that is exactly what this is. The special abilities add quite a bit to it, but not enough to hold my interest for more than a few minutes. As others have stated, checkpoints, stages, save points, SOMETHING so that I don't start from the beginning EVERY SINGLE TIME would be nice.
On the flip-side of the coin, the graphics are well done, and the music fits well. The sound effects are not bad (could be better, but could also be way worse, so we'll call them 'decent'). Hotkeys would be a pretty nice addition too.

While other people are saying to skip to certain parts, which may have quite a few flaws, how about an auto-calculate for up to 1/2 the distance traveled, without any reward? I don't see why not.

REPETITIVE. 3/5 Fun, needs more units and costing different things so it's not just a nonstop "unlock this, then this next, then this next". It lets the player put more skill into their army

We need a saving point, not a checkpoint. Save your whole army at 500, 1000 etc. metres with their current health. You won't get the money until then, but mabe your cooldowns are resetted. You can replay the earlier marks whenever you like, I'll better fight against the high level enemies more often. Unless this is changed, it's becoming an idle game after some rounds.

i loved it like Juggalo676 said had to grind for a little after i got my archers maxed it went smoothly and i just kinda played 5/5 good game and congrats cant wait for badges

gotta love how you can have 4 units on screen but only one of them capable of attacking even tough they're all ranged.

I agree. This needs some sort of hyperspeed more OR checkpoints. I got tired after the 20th run. Way too much of a grind.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
over all i thought it was a great game had to grind a little but not all that much really love the game dont care what any one else says 5/5

theres a way to make your units last longer in the field:
1: get 3 squads at least (1 range 2 melee)
2: upgrade only attack directed skills for the ranged and all upgrades for the meele. Also get max out numbers for the squads
3: 1 suicide goblin is enough
4: During combat, shuffle your meelee units every time you see the animation of the oponent attacking, that way, if you time it right, you make them miss the swing, and since your ranged units will keep hitting, you wont lose all your DPS, but almost nullifies theirs. I got the in-game acheivment "tactician" in 16 days basicly using this

I think the stategy comes in when you attempt to hit the acheivements as you go. Seeing what is coming next and figuring out which creatue you should save up for next to maximize your distance early on is where you have to make decisions.

just found a bug, if u return to camp mid fight u lose the money u earned in that fight. i just wanted the 500 more gold needed to get my werewolves, but i have to go through til the end to get it

love it, i agree its more like a launch game, so checkpoints would be stupid. despite what everyone else says i love it gg, 5 stars

I made it to day 32 wave 34. I like the game and there is a lot going on for it, but just too much grinding. I really wanted to "Beat" the game, but at the point of wave 34, I just couldn't do it anymore. A checkpoint after every 10 waves would be awesome. Just say that when you start at check point "X", you get so much gold each time and then earn more gold from that point until you reach the next point. That would get rid of a lot of the grinding. If you could do something like that, it would be an easy 5/5! Without it, I have to go with 4/5.

@ cowboyrobot: I think the strategy is in juggling the lines to get the best troop to face the ones they are strongest against. But I do agree that it is bottlenecking your troop variety into a preset rail. (or you could grind it out and try the more powerful units)

Pretty fun addicting game, I would love to see talent trees instead of mindless upgrades though. Otherwise great game keep up the good work!

After you think that your clicking and strategy means that much, just let it run in background without touching anything. Activate nothing, don't reorder after initial setup (put ranged in the back). You will be suprised to see that on auto it reaches almost same place as you will all the super-smart repositioning and skill activation...

great game :) hotkeys would be nice for the battalions, and for their spells too. for example: 1,2,3 should be the battalions hotkey, to bring them to first row, and the space key for their spells. that'd make the executing of the strategy faster, more fluid.
btw i think it really is a good game, with hotkeys it worth 5 stars, without them, it's just a strong four.
