Quickfingerz, unfortunately, will not be creating any further updates on Step Seq. The last time he was active here was in 2011, so I think it's safe to say no more changes are coming soon... I sound cold, maybe, but people keep posting ideas for updates that will not be heard. :(

Wouldn't it be nice if you could change each page to what you want, like you would be able to make the tempo for the first page slow and on the second page make it faster tempo, instead of only being able to change the entire tempo for all the song. Or you could choose the volume on the instrument that you want on each page.

this game is really good but i have a problem, after about 15 mins or so the sounds of the notes lag off a lot can you please tell me how to fix this

Great game 5/5. i think somethings can improve it more.1: if u can select the tone of each instrument For each page.2: if u can set the tempo for each page :D.

In addition to the "Add Page" suggestion, there should be an option where you can change keys within the song. If those two options were put into this game, it would probably be the best composition program (in a browser).

I suppose that I shall have to post again!
I am fairly certain that the reason that Quickfingerz uses Unity is because of the fact that it has it's own programming language, and it's the one that he knows how to work with.
If it was in Flash, then he would have had to learn an entirely new code language, and then made the game with the same unfamiliar code. That's hard business!

It'd be nice if you added a page index for the highest rated list so we wouldn't have to go through 20 pages to find where we were again after listening to one song.

I think he means just in general. He probably saw somebody stealing everybody's songs and is just reporting about it. Not all comments are a conversation, but yeah. I agree with d4rka8isz. If all you can do is steal songs and call them your own, you should realize how hard the "victim" has worked on it and if they would mind. Chances are, the answers are that they worked very hard and they don't want you to steal it.

It'd be nice if you could follow your favorite artists, so when they upload something to Step/Net you get a notification or something

not sure what is wrong, but the game is really really crappy at my new pc. it just skips beats and does just about everything wrong that it does, since no one else seems to have it i assume it's somewhere on my side, so im installing unity again.
btw i don't see any reason this requires unity, and if it can be done in two ways always choose the most accesible, i.e. flash

I have a grand suggestion as to how and what we should do about this game. Please up-vote at any time if you agree, but we need someone to take control of the game, someone who knows the unity code well enough to positively alter the game, enjoys this game as much as the rest of us, AND will pay attention to the game itself. I've set up a forum to further discuss this idea and all it would entail entitled, "ScarletStump's Step Seq. Proposal"

I love this Game!!! I would totally play this on my free time. It would be nice to have a couple of extra choices, though:
1) a way to change the scale used at will in the middle of a loop.
2) more pages. I like long songs! More time for development.
