the maximum amount of candy you get per round is, even if you kill everyone, quite random, sometimes first round can give less than 25, sometimes more than 50, which makes your progress through the skills tree and thus the game, quite dependent on luck. (exponential effect with candy upgrades)

Guys use @NanakoM strategy I got 33000 by using 3 ninjas 1 cat,
maximize following upgrades : health speed and attack first . then go for the other ones.

When the game lags, the team becomes very stupid and uncontrollable. I have to persuade the guys to stop rushing at the enemy and go in a different direction.

Think I found something better than the ninja squad everyone's talking about up there: two robots, a witch, and a cat. Leveling special and candy early gives you a bunch of extra candy for faster levelling, and the frenzy/brew combo lets you keep speed and attack fairly low early on to allow for it. Late game it gets pretty crazy, with your special up most of the time melting 3-4 waves of enemies per use. Hitting guys behind you isn't a problem with the speed boost from brew; you can just loop around them. Never got below half HP, ended with nearly 7k extra candy and over 15k score.

If you are trying to get your candy back, why are you spending it on powerups that clearly are coming from the aliens, because WHO WOULD GIVE A KID A WAND THAT SHOOTS DEADLY LASERS???

Reaches wave 18 on survival with 29,900 points. Then all hell breaks loose and I die almost instantly with 30,200 points, just enough to get the hard badge. No clue how wave 18 can be beaten... Cool game anyway.

ok, I'm no expert, But taking 1 piece of candy off the floor surely won't give you 10 pieces of candy. But for me it will, Because I'm British
