@sawalu: In the skill tree, the following skills will increase run speed: the fire tree has "Hot Air" on the 2nd row fromt the top, the ice tree has "Chilling Winds" at the bottom row, and the divine tree has "Swift Retribution" on the 2nd row from the top. To view the skill tree press Spacebar while IN a stage (can't view the skill tree from the main menu unfortunately...)

The game isn's perfect, but it was lots of fun. I had a few comments after a few playthroughs. The hit box is too big in my opinion. In most bullet hells the hitbox is only a part of the sprite, the size of the wizard's hat or smaller, to make most damage avoidable. As for damage, both ice and fire are viable, I had a lot of fun with both. My ice build's damage output was a bit lower, but the added slows and increased damage of freezing nova (though I didn't put any points in Deadly Nova) made it a fun alternative to tiri's triple fireball build and easily passed the 600 point mark too. Divine struggles severely damage-wise, as it's the only tree whose basic spell does not deal aoe damage and judgement is too mana costly to make up for it. Even with the tree maxed out, I found myself leaning towards fireball for its aoe damage and quickly abandoned smite altogether.

So I'm grinding away trying to get strong enough to beat the final boss and all of a sudden I see MAX LEVEL. No ^$#!@# way!! So now I gotta start over because I was enjoying the game and not using a cheat guide. Ridiculous.

Game slightly unstable. Crashed, and I had no save. Also there' s really only 1 build that will work for survival (Fire/Divine, someone posted it below) Really needs these fixes.

Please make the font MUCH clearer! I couldn't tell if the letter for shooting was "a" "g" or "c." So I couldn't shoot anything for five minutes trying to figure out which letter I was supposed to use!

tiri23's comment is the best for as easy of a way for the Hard badge as you can have; it's still difficult though. One more tip: unlike the main game, you don't need to be killing every enemy you come across. Your only goal is to stay alive, so only aim for the bats and especially wizards. My main fault at first was focusing too much on the straight-walking melee monsters, although they will get in the way lots of times. And I agree: frozen enemies should NOT be able to attack in any way.

Obviously you go for fireball and hence focus on pyromancy tree. Its a pre unlocked high rate of fire multishot AOE high damage attack. If that is not OP, I do not know what is

Easily got past 600, 650 even, using tiri23's build.
Also, going with that build, first doing the full fire tree and then going to the holy tree, you can actually beat the boss at level 9-ish. You definitely need max level to easily get 600 points in survival mode, though.

you can beat the final boss before level 15:
first use your first level up to buy frost and smite projectile. you now have 3 bullets.
then spend points in the fire tree to get the double and triple bullet fire spells. that will pick you up to 5 bullets.
then spend points in divine down to get the extra MP and HP Chosen One.

Survival is a little bit of a pain but not to bad with tiri23s lvl up tips. I always try and max everything which you cant do in this. I liked this game overall even though a bit of a simple concept. keep up the good work.

I would have rated this game 5 stars, but I am only going to give it 3 because I abhor it when a developer offers you upgrades, but than forbids you from getting them all. I never feel good ending a game like that.

"I PITY YOUR SOUL, FOR I WILL DEAL WIT YOU MYSELF! - And I will do this by hanging around down here in the corner where you can't get a good shot in, slowcasting easily avoidable orbs and occationally summoning a handful of bats..."

Another offensive alternative (requires dodging bullets): For Ice, get Icebolt, max Winter's Might, max Frostbite, 1 Icebolt Frenzy, max Glacial Flow, max Chilling Winds, max Master of the Cold. For Fire, max Advanced Fireball, max Hot Air, Double Fireball, 2 Rapid Fire, max Pyromancy. Spam Icebolt and Fireball by pressing and holding those buttons. Use 3rd spell in those tight spots; I used Freezing Nova. You can prob try Spark of Life but remember the cost is not reduced. This build may be easier and faster for a good dodger than the Pyro/Healing build.

Fk 589!!!!!!! Made a mistake, put one in ice and then my mp regeneration is only 20% which make the final 100m a bit hard.

although the fire build suggested above is very nice.. its almost too easy that way.. for an alternative, go pure offensive using the 3 primary spells, and utilizing the ice/divine tree.. you become a whirlwind of spells (you can cast all 3 spells at once, continuously, as long as your mana holds out) just be sure to only use ice or divine as your "primary" spell, and then cast the other 2 spells when you need to push through a group of monsters so you dont deplete your mana too fast ----- be sure to target the large groups of casters asap once you reach ~450 in survival, as you have no means of healing, and it gets hard dodging all those bullets.. take note that this build is much harder, but it is definitly possible, ive reached 697 on survival with it, and i might be better than average, but im far from claiming im the most skilled at this type of game

I feel like maybe I'm the bad guy here. Sure there's an evil mage trying to kill me and sending minions... But they're obviously minimum wage types who just want to get out of the way and run past me. Who's the bad guy again?
