Hmm... I dunno... I usually LOVE these types of games, The Majesty of colors, The company of Myself, One Chance, games that make you think. However, this game didn't really get to me. Seemed a little random...

@locolino Nice misinformation there. Point and clicks originated around the 80's with a few little known point and click adventure games and one you may know: Shadowgate (1987).

Really nice point and click, loved the grphic style, and the mood of this game, and for the people who say this isnt a game, monkey island would want to have a chat with you.

Sorry, this is not resonating with me at all. And since the mechanics are just the same old point-and-click puzzle ones from the 80s, that only were a device for the fun/resonating story, that means there’s nothing left for it to be fun to me. But I’m the type who expects games to be *fun* art, not solely artsy abstactions. Because then one would have to call them that, and not games. Simply said: This piece of art does not fulfill the criteria for being a game. 2/5.

I think it's an intresting game, but I failed. Stuck after catching the fireflies in the dome, I can't get out of the Fountain in a Backyard. What do I have remember/forget?

First time played through took about twenty minutes. Second time through read the last comment. Laughed so hard, pooped in pants.

Second time playing beat it in like 5 mins
Third time playing understood the message and started crying

I only played for about 10 minutes and I can tell you, I love the idea of the game. It's really good. 4/5! Good job and good luck for your later games! ;)

I never played Rocky's Boots, but the same guys made Robot Odyssey which is basically the same thing. One of my absolute favorite games I ever played...

It was nice and fun, and certainly had a pretty nice message, but there were a few flaws in execution. Especially the music... the music just sounded too cluttered, and ended up giving me a headache when I tried finding a melody to it.

I really like this game; it gives me a kind of sweet nostalgic feeling. My one and only complaint is that it's annoyingly difficult to target the butterflies. 5 stars anyhow. On another note, I noticed that one of the alpha-testers is Gregory Weir... that's interesting. I can see some influence here.

@PumpkinDog I think you're being unfair. Remembering and forgetting are the main ways you move on to different scenes when you're reading an introspective novel. Using them in a game creates the same stream-of-consciousness sense you would get from reading a good book. I know I can't express it very well, but I get what he did and I think it's brilliant.

i'm not sure what all these people are talking about.... yeah "forgetting" and "remembering" things are clever ways to move around, but in the end it was just a mask over what is a normal adventure game. the music was really annoying too, how can you enjoy that endlessly while you're trying to figure what "move" is on the next level? the emperor is not wearing clothes, stop pretending he is. 1/5

Tries so hard to be understated and poetic that it comes off a bit precious to me. Thought it was nicely structured, though, and had a consistent tone throughout. It actually got better deeper into the game, which is rare. 4/5

That was beautiful. It took a while to learn the controls, but then I realized it was sort of a "letting go" of the usual gaming thought process which let me go from screen to screen with ease, and perform the tasks necessary to complete the game appropriately. I loved it; it was very surreal, but also hypnotically calming. The fact that you set it in Lodi, California also means a lot to me, as out there, it really is so calm and so peaceful (I lived out there for a while). What a wonderful game; it's a shame to see people complaining about it being "too random" or they're just not able to properly figure things out, and rate it poorly without giving it a proper chance. This was wonderful.

Quite an amazing game. I've been stressed out lately, this game calmed me down, and helped me forget about what was around me. 5/5

It was entertaining and cute little story. Poetic? Well, one might see some poetic about it too. I really do must be dead inside or other nonsense for not being emotionally moved or touched by the game. For me it was just a short game - nothing else.

Loved this game! Particularly the first two levels - you can see the effort that the author went to to make it a unique experience. Bravo!
