Absolutely loved this game. I think that this... creature that you are following was always like this. Remember the notes about his "eye", not eyes. He also makes a comment on your disability, i.e. your lack of tentacles. In my opinion, they are one and the same, just the friend was more fit for the aquatic environment.

I liked it... I think it is a true work of minimalistic art with wonderful storytelling... I got more out of 5 notes than half of a movie could explain. 5/5

i liked this
the entire time i was thinking that the ending would be something like this but the whole disability thing was still nice.
he keeps saying how with your disability it would be hard with your character not realizing that its not a disability just a different set of abilities

It's actually really nice. They'd make a good team. One can light up the darkness and the other can hold his breath forever.

At first I thought the letter-writer was supposed to have committed suicide. Then I thought that perhaps we were the letter-writer ourselves, and have just been wandering around that long. I'm not sure what I think now with the squid.

i thought he could hold his breath forever ...................... oh it was his friend that could hold his breath forever

5/5 this is a beautiful game that actually made me feel something as I went from note to note. Really captivating for such a short game, a true masterpiece!

I'm so used to these minimalist games having dark endings so I was afraid he would just find a corpse or something, but he found his friend! 5 stars for a rare positive ending

This is a truly wonderful game. I don't think you should change how long you should hold your breath at all.Though not very long, I really enjoyed this game. Maybe make it a little longer and it would be perfect. The story is great and I had a lot of fun swimming from note to note. 5/5

I love that there are multiple paths you can take. Exploration really makes a game like this shine, excellent work!!!

people are saying that a squid or octopus jumped in the pond. that may be right, but i think that they were pherhaps friends (kids, not kid and octopus) and one jumped in the pond only to find a huge underwater cavern. he journeyed all the way to the end where he waited so long for his friend to catch up. by the time you find him. he has waited so long that he turned into an octopus. in one way it sounds weird but in another it seems reasonable.

i really like this game. i like pretty much all games of this genre, like the majesty of colors, and all the similar games with the awesome graphics and little background, like nevermore or coma. great game 5/5

This game just shows you that it doesn't matter if the artwork, or game itself is simple. It's really the story that matters. That's why this is a good game. Just wish it were longer.

Spoiler: I think that this is better than even newer games i have played. it has a really great storyline! If you were confused about the ending, the friend was the squid. Hence the "my eye" and the disability was that the person couldnt hold his breath forever, but his friend could! Awesome! 5/5

You should make more games like this. Forget the graphics, it's all about the story. (And a little gameplay here and there.)

When I saw the last note I thought his friend commited suicide :L
I'm happy they met up again...
This kinda shows how friends don't need to be the same in anyway, gender, race, origin, or even species... Lovely game 5/5

that warmed my heart.
i love these types of games that leave little messages although they are mostly depressing and tell of how they were left alone but stayed happy

This was a short game. But, I enjoyed every second that it spent. Absolutely loved the notes, and I dived into that final pool without any thought, but I wished I'd savoured it. Thus, I played it once again. And it's NOT many games I play a second way through. Good job, I absolutely adore this game.
