I don't think the notes were written to the player, you're just some guy who stumbles along and finds this story about an ancient friendship. And then is eaten by a giant squid, or something. Still, I liked it, 5/5

after u complete would be nice to see a 'map' of thecaves shopwing how many notes u missed/got. meaning u could time the whole thing and create a leaderbourd of the time it takes people to obtain all notes.

guys the game ending means that no matter how different you are from somebody, you can alwayss be friends and find your way back to them

I read a story like this, and one of the characters went as far down as he can so. In the bottom he sees a squid like monster, like in this game, and that squid was trying to get on the surface. I believe that could be the story.

well this is the kind of game were you can not really tell the ending. wait...the squids eyes look weird...and the character was shaking. ether he was scared or very excited.
if excited, it was his friend.
is scared, the squid was not his friend, and is probubly going to kill the player,
or the squid is his friend, and is dead (since it was not moving, and looked dead)

It's nto a stupid game, i think it's one of a kind one of those games that has deep thing involved. you either get it or you don't. i personnaly get it as a game about friend ship.

I loved the odea of the game, although it was very very short. It reminded me of "Don't look back" ^^

wow that was weird at the end it would be alot cooler with levels and upgrades but very fun you should make one alot longer 4/5
