This is the type of game I love. Not too long, yet satisfyingly complete. I loved it. 5/5. It doesn't need graphics when it has a message.

This was a sad attempt to make a random "moral game" with no effort in the hope that people would think it has meaning.

beautiful a touching, i thought it was a work of art. it can be interpreted in a million ways, so there isnt much point in debating them. i personally thought there were no extrordinary aspects to the tale (his friend mutating into an octopus, etc), but rather more like a childs dream is created, a totally unique idea. he has an octopus for a friend, who he was playing with one day. the octopus swam ahead long ago, and the child desperately wants to reunite with him. i think the actual passage of time in the game is only several minutes, the the octupus has been there for years, awaiting his friend...

so the boy was jake elliot. he was taking hallucinogens. he thought he could hold his breath forever so he dived into a radioactive pool of glowing fish. inside the pool there were pockets of air where he could breathe. in every pocket there was a magic mushroom. jake mistook them for letters from his friend and ate them. soon, he reached the bottom of the pool and was eaten by Morbo. the end

I must say this again: this game is not good. There are hundreds of games exactly like this that are more entertaining and have the exact meaning this portrays, but done much better.

My theory starts now: I think that the boy had a pet fish of some sort, after the fish got bigger, his parents wanted him to get rid of him, so he threw him in the pond, over the years, the boy started thinking of the fish, and decided to look for him, as if checking on him. Then he found the fish, but the fish had grown into an octopus over the years. I'll do the judging of my theory for you, Fish can't write, obviously, so he wouldn't of been able to write the letters. 5/5 btw.

100% agree with rawr fishies, a friend has slipped into drug addiction when you visit him at rehab 3 years later you realise he is not the same person you remember.

I think that this game has a deeper meaning, I think that when your friend jumped into the pond it means that he got into a bad lifestyle such as drugs. You always hope that he'll be the same and you start trying to be like him, but you realize that you've both lost yourselves and he is too far gone. Or I think that's what it means.

How did the friend "write" those notes? Where did he get the paper? The pen? How could the friend tell how much time has passed by underwater? How did he eat for all those years? Raw fish? How come there's such a big.. pond? A pond with caverns, large drops and floating water? Wth? How did those water float?

i really like this game. i like pretty much all games of this genre, like the majesty of colors, and all the similar games with the awesome graphics and little background, like nevermore or coma. great game 5/5

really nice game, and I thought that was really good but would have been better if it was longer and more background on the story... 5/5 =D

What mostly everyone said. Simple, good, surprising, mysterious. And annoying, but in the right dosage XD That blackening effect can get in your nerves sometimes!
