WOO HOO GREAT GAME SERIOUSLY... man I feel for him wondering what happened to his friend living down there for such a great period of time which seemed to flow through us as we sped along trying to find our friend. He lived so long down there its amazing no one would think someone could live in a cavern so long. He must have thought about him and his friend could be together once again and lived and grow but now the story must end not knowing what happened to his friend 5/5 p.s. If I could rate it higher I would rate it infinity.

that game was amazing. i love the notes and i think it was really quite powerful. 5/5 design, 5/5 idea, 5/5 classic graphics, 5/5 beautiful.

at the end i cried, i wont lie i cried my eyes out, this is an amazing game, the creator of this game has a great imagination and alot of creativity and skill... simply amazing (5/5 vote + if you agree with me)

Lovely game. Full of life and very sad but in the way you want to be happy and cry at the same time. Really makes you feel like your the person in the pound looking for your long lost friend. Every time I found I note I got happy hoping a would reunite these good friends. You feel like you just did a good act after playing this. Long live this game =) 5/5

i love these types of games that leave little messages although they are mostly depressing and tell of how they were left alone but stayed happy

"I'd like to be, under the sea, in an octopusses' garden" No srsly, the symbolic is awesome. Having an octopus as friend means, he will wait untill hsi breath runs out. Witch means he will wait forever, no matter how deep he stucks in a weird, dark cave. :D

Oh wow.... when I read it has been years.... and I'm getting old.... it was sad. How he would reminisce in the notes.
It had sort of a "friend, I will wait for you forever." feel. Cute, and a little sad. I actually half expected him to be alive when I found the last note!

Beautiful game, although I don't think I quite comprehend the end of it. The notes really do give more meaning than a movie ever could.

I see the meaning, since his friend dove into the pond, he probably adapted to the environment and slowly grew gills, and for some reason, he turned into a squid, dont know why, I was imagining a guy with gills. Anyway nice game

Loved it! I was expecting a man in a cave :S An octopus was a shocker. Still, loved everything about this game. And psycho_gamer, I dunno if you are gonna see this or not, but i think that the little orange guy set the octopus free at a young age. Or the octopus escaped. Oh well 5/5

someone plz pm me I dont understand the meaning of going after this friendly octopus and how the friend (you) ties into it at least i know how the octopus wrote the letters

I think this game also says quite a bit about the consequences of being indecisive or hesitant. The friend (you) obviously waits quite a while before going in after his friend, and his friend ends up becoming more adapted to the environment then you, and both of them get separated for a long while because the first didn’t go with the second.

beautiful game but.. i thought he could only hold his breath for 10 secs? at the end it seems to be quite a bit more ^^ anyways hf and keep making games like this, another good one is the majesty of color also a beuautiful game <3 the pixels

I was expecting a pink version of you, or something like that, not a one-eyed octopus. I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean, so if anybody has an idea please pm me! 5/5 for the amount of letters, and respawning points :)

it's got all the quality of one of those games that are really great but somehow never make it out!. Epicbattle fantasy is too kiddish what were they thinking when they made it like that!
