I've found that trying to move through a mass of oncoming balls is far easier to avoid than waiting for them to surround you and then dodging. Try to go to the spots where the red balls are coming from, it makes it easier than trying to just go towards open spaces, because chances are that the red balls are headed that way as well. just a few tips if anyone is interested

Man, back in 2009 this was hard as hell, now i play Touhou rather religiously, and this suddenly isnt that hard anymore

corners would be a great strategy... except i feel like the balls have an agenda behind them and just target me more when I try to strategize

Here's a tip, if you turn off the music, no matter how painful that may be- you will do better at this game with added concentration on the balls and not singing along to the techno wonder in the background.

Like some comments before me, I have been playing this off and on for the last 3+ years and still haven't achieved the hard badge. Still is and will always be 5 stars in my book. However, considering the success rate of people reaching 200 seconds, why isn't it an impossible achievement? My highest being 183 I know it's not impossible, but I also know it is too hard for a hard badge.

This badge has haunted me for years. I come for the first time in months and got the hard badge first try. You have no idea how happy that makes me.

It took 40 mins of hell but i got that achievement... + an extra 176 seconds o.o
P.S 10 balls = insanely hard 11 balls = totally nuts. Don't know the last 4:P(You post em :o?)

got 5th ball without moving. (I was playing the game for the music so i had to keep on starting it when i saw i got 5 balls)

I had the easy badge from a past attempt but that's been cleared down. I clocked 65 seconds playing again but the time isn't being recorded.

I obtained the hard badge to this game in 2009, opened it for the badge of the day and still remember the tune by heart, 10 years later!

This game takes away so much NERVES!!!!!!!!!!! Its a good thing that the HARD badge is only 200 sec and not 300 or something...

This and the multitask games.... Why must people insist on making red circles a BAD thing. Somebody should report these games to the S.E.M (Shape Equality Movement) Then they'd..ummm... probably make games to make you hate red squares and triangles and such.
