Finally, back at this game so many years later, went full 279 seconds, 10 balls! After I was sure I got it, based on music and previous runs, I just chilled and toyed around, went more 79 seconds... maybe that's the catch. And always look at the center and monitor the fastest balls.

Alright, so, you wanna get the hard badge. Use a mouse, you're gonna need the quick and fine movements in order to survive. Secondly, turn your volume to 0 and go into cinematic mode to remove distractions. When you're in the game, try to limit yourself to one general area, my choice is near the bottom barrier. Leave it when you need to, but always try to return to it, this will give you more focus on a singular area as opposed to constantly darting around and trying to keep track of everything at once. However, don't linger in the middle, as that requires focus on every present ball and leaves you susceptible to surprise collisions bouncing right into you. Only pay attention to the balls right around you and the ones coming after you if you spot them in your peripheral vision. In many regards, it doesn't matter how many balls are on the screen, only the amount that are threatening to touch you. As a ball is approaching you, your immediate thoughts should be where it's (PT 1)

coming from and where it's going to be in a few seconds. You don't need to dodge every approach if you steer entirely clear of it entirely. (Of course, don't 'steer clear' right into another ball.) As more balls start appearing on screen, you'll need progressively grant more focus to how the balls are going to collide. Most of my games were ended due to a sudden bounce causing a ball to divert its path straight into me. This is especially important if you have any extremely fast balls on screen, as those will cause large jumps in speed with any ball they collide with. Do not count the seconds you've been playing and do not get flustered as you get further, particularly as you reach your 8th and 9th ball, this will inevitably cause you to choke. Finally, just throw yourself in for another attempt if you fail. This game has RNG regarding where balls spawn, their speed, and their trajectory. You are bound to get a game that just so happens to work out for you one way or another. (PT 2)

I love the realistic physics engine behind the red balls! It makes their trajectories so much easier to predict when their collisions with each other can be predicted based on real-world experience.

The philosophy behind bullet hell is to just not move around too much and you'll have an easier time dodging... the philosophy behind this game is to just accept defeat.

Scientist: If the red and blue atoms touch, the universe will end.
Government Agent: How long do we have?
Scientist: About 3 minutes sir...
Government Agent: Dear God...

You acquired this badge on Aug. 30, 2007. *checks hard badge* You acquired this badge on Aug. 05, 2007. This was the 2nd game I ever rated (on May 25, 2007) back when rating games was worth 5 points and badges were not a thing.

Found a glitch that enabled me to get the badge, apparently you can stick your ball in a corner and then take the mouse pointer out of the game screen and where you back in the blue ball will appear. By going in and out of the games window you can easily avoid red balls.

Job done very well, i didn't thought that any game can piss me off more than Crazy Guitar Master 3. I can only say Congratulations. Despite my hate, game is truly nicely done, all seems very realistic, gradually advancing difficulty was steadily increasing pressure on player. The very reason for my anger are edges, in game if you touch edge with mouse, you got miniature delay in movement, and that leads to end. my personal rating is 3/5.

The hard badge is the oldest of the badges I'm missing. Even when I was trying to have ALL badges, I couldn't do better than 145seconds :(
This is so hard.

Interesting, the site didn’t create a new achievement tab showing I had previously earned the badge of the day like it normally does, but when I checked the Kongpanions page, it showed the check mark for today.

I had the easy badge from a past attempt but that's been cleared down. I clocked 65 seconds playing again but the time isn't being recorded.

OK there needs to be a automatic pause on focus lost, when the cursor goes outside the boundaries. Most times I get hit are from the blue ball getting stuck, and of course hit when I wouldn't have, from this problem.
