An astounding game overall. It creates a downright tense and spooky feel without resorting to jump scares, excessive gore, or overt violence. Sort of like a Hitchcock movie. You know, intriguing, pulse-pounding, cinematic, with just a tiny hint of suspense thrown in for good measure. Fingers crossed for a sequel.

Pretty good but the crowbar thing was ridiculous, and the codes at the end weren't very clear, particularly since it established a pattern of each code being 3 characters, and the on/off codes weren't used for the containers they had unique codes. Impossible without a walk through or hours of brute forcing.

Along with the other terrible "guess or give up" puzzles (buddha + steel rod = crowbar WTF?), the mysterious non-existent "grave" can be found by randomly mousing until it says "look behind boulder" in the camp.

Barry723, A 'Red Herring' is an idiomatic expression referring to the rhetorical or literary tactic of diverting attention away from an item of significance. Basically, it did it's job, in making you think you actually need it for something.

I like this game a lot, you don't see too many decent point-and-clicks adventure games anymore. Though I did find the ending anticlimactic (why show that thing at the end if you never see it again?) I thought it was great.
Though is anyone else bothered by the fact that the ship had a steering wheel?

Man I remember playing this when I was maybe 12 and those stone heads freaked me out. I thought I remembered a sequence with the robots chasing but that was probably my overactive imagination.
Definitely the best point and click escape game I've ever played.

"If we can't fix the hibernation system, there's not point in taking off. That one year trip would be too boring" Too boring? You're facing life or death and it's "too boring" to get off the planet you're on? damn son, you take being entertained very seriously

Uh.... could anyone take care of Johansen's body first? do you guys just let it lying around in the lobby? Jeez, you guys are awful.

In mystery stories, a false lead that brings you away from the truth is also called a 'red herring'. Well... that stinky, melting red herring does distract you.

I really appreciate when devs work so much on cut-scenes. 5/5 ... This could really have a sequel like where the aliens follow them to take revenge, etc..

Very nice, awesome cutscenes.
I think that some things could have some sort of highlight to make players want to look there. For example, make the wire next to the generator console brighter or more standing out. Still a good game, though.

Hey Barry723... If you don't know what a red herring is (look it up!) then seriously, you deserve the frustration. Actually, I'll just tell you right out- A Red Herring, by definition, is anything that diverts attention from a topic or line of inquiry- In otherwords, a false clue. It's a very famous literary device that has been used since its origination in 1807, from Sherlock Holmes novels to others, primarily in the suspence and thriller genres, and has also since been transferred to visual media- The "innocent cast in a guilty light" is a rather infamous example used almost everywhere.

well that alien marking stuff was over my head and I had to use walkthrough. Though I love the writing and style. Everything is pretty good. it gets 5/7 from me.
