For the code, left room in the crater area goes to a star map. Find our solar system, and you get the code on top left.

If you're not a genious or an iq more than 200, you will have to give-up and look at walkthrough in order to not get frustrated forever and also be able to feel like you actually can accomplished something that was too hard for you to solve it.

Pretty good but the crowbar thing was ridiculous, and the codes at the end weren't very clear, particularly since it established a pattern of each code being 3 characters, and the on/off codes weren't used for the containers they had unique codes. Impossible without a walk through or hours of brute forcing.

This is the best construction I've ever seen in a game. Your ship gets thrown into a friggin planet and only cracks in three places. 10/10 would buy this ship again.

Really like it, great job guys and gals at Red Herring. Just one thing about the final code puzzle I had to note down all the symbols I had to brute force part of it as it wasn't quite clear what meanings were (gravity, solar system) but apart from that brilliant game, well done.

Nice game, the code section towards the end was a bit tedious and some of the interactive objects are a bit to dark to recognize them well.

Started well but rapidly became a hunt-the-pixel, random clicking exercise with no logic. Would not have got as far as I did without referring to the walk-through which negates any feeling of achievement.

The three symbols on the generator power cord were too dark to read for me, but from other comments I deduce that they are "MMC" (bottom-right, bottom-right, bottom-middle). Useful if you want to turn the power off!

I agree with the others the 3D animated flash intro an outtro are friken amazing 3D. At first I thought I was going to have to take over the astronaut because I seen the red cross hairs in the center of the screen, but I was disappointed, bummer that would have imo made this game levels above all the other flash games I have already played on Kong!

i really hope you got a prize for that game or can now work in a computergame creating factory - brilliant piece of work!

glossy!
to my knowledge, a "real" red herring occurs the first time in the adventure game fgth in 1985 for the C64. "frankie goes to hollywood" being the name of a band, chosing it's name from a newspaper article about frank sinatra (a famous singer, just in case) ...

I'm not too proud to admit I had to use the walkthrough for certain parts. Notably, the saltpeter from the sand (that specific patch of sand), hitting the *control panel* with the rifle, and the *gravity* code needing to be entered...but I suppose it's an adventure game, obscure puzzles is how they roll!

Definitely needed to use the walkthrough and captain a bunch. I'm not clever enough for this kind of thing. Also, twice I felt that the connections were ones I would never make just because they were slight reaches. But other people seem to have gotten them, so I trust that it's just a problem for me and a few others. Excellently crafted game!

A lot of the time, character interactions are just "meh" to me, but I was laughing considerably this time. :D I was actually fairly invested, which is more than I can say for a decent percentage of games. NICE. :D Love the original take on the stone heads, too; creeped me right the **** out when the first one opened its eyes like that, holy sh*t. O.O Had to scratch my head for a good while, but that's why I like these games; they make you use yer grey matter! XD

I was kinda expecting something to do with the head-fighter-jet-...things in the end cutscene. A good idea would be to add in a minigame of dodging and/or shooting at them in while escaping the planet.

are you seriously putting in a dev easter egg. The red container in the cargo bay...YOU SERIOUSLY PUT IN A RED HERRING?! XD
