Morningstar is the best "escape" game I have ever played... and in all honesty, I would NOT have finished it without the in game "walkthrough". Great story line, Fantastic intro and outro scenes, and lots of things to pay attention to... or you are "Lost in Space" in my opinion. Give this one a try, it is well worth the time. Happy Gaming EV1... B.Z.

To those of you wishing that it was more clear that the red herring wasnt used for anything, look up the definition of the term red herring...pretty self explanatory.

"I still have a couple of things to do here, before I venture out into the desert." *Looks at Cabin Fever badge* UGGHHHH.

Amazing game, amazing graphics, amazing movies. The only thing I didn't like was the code bit. Seriously? I'm supposed to know that the three digits on the CONTAINMENT unit are for "gravity"? And what's with the really badly organized galaxy map to give us the other codes? It wasn't that it was necessarily hard, but it was stupid and totally jerked me out of the immersion the game had created.

The art and overall production value are all on par with a Sierra title about 10 years ago, which is still immensely better than most free browser games today. The game plays well, which you would think would come naturally in a point and click game, but if Kong has taught me anything, it's to appreciate that a game is fully functional. If this game had come out 10-15 years ago as a PC game, and it were expanded upon (the game was quite short) I'm sure it would've been mentioned in the same breath as King's Quest or Myst as a great point and click adventure. Red Herring Studio, please keep making games, this was everything I could've wanted in a point & click game, and now I want more! The people demand it!

One of the greatest point & click games I played ever!! Keep up the good work. Submit more games like this, don't know if a sequel or prequel or something is coming, but keep uploading more games like this, with great artwork, catching storyline, simple inventory and navigation system, and good atmosphere.
P.S. I rarely take a minut to to rate and comment games, so this tells that it was an amazing game..
Waiting for more...

Lol @ the moment i finally realized what the stone heads were... my heart stopped when i thought about how many were waiting for me outside... and then started back up at the thought this would turn into a all out shooter against them haha

@Balbanes: (SPOILER FOR PUZZLE) The two symbols mean "off." They're on the capsules only when the capsules are open - i.e., off. Thus, adding those two symbols tells the machine to turn the power (the cable) off. (And, for the record, I had trouble with it too, but it seems obvious in retrospect when he points out that "the symbols are different than the others.")

Excellent game, but some stuff is hard to see, some times the item combinations are a bit too specific (how come I have to pour the saltpeter into the CO2 filter before I can even think of adding sulphur to the mix?), and the posterization in the movies were a bit annoying. 4/5

The intro and end movies were entertaining, the story was engaging and the game play wasn't too easy. I was expecting to see some of those stone-head-robotic-attack-jets to chase my ship as it was leaving in the end movie, maybe they couldn't be bothered because they'd already had a human sample to experiment on.

*thumbs up* What got me hooked most of all was the story, it blasted my imagination into overtime. The game was fun and not easy, good job. Extra kudos for those opening and ending scenes
