Under rating threshold (hideshow) Great Game, just one comment though. I wish I knew the "Red Herring" was useless from the start and just an Easter egg. A few times in the game I found myself wondering around with no clue what the next thing I must do was. It always ended up with me and that dame fish. Mm-mm, cant open that crate. What if I hit it with the fish? Or, I cant reach far enough into the drain to get something. If I drop the fish down the drain, will it swim to the object and bring it to me? And, I cant see its to dark. Well if i skewer the fish with the pole and light it on fire, I can make a torch. LOL, funny now but frustrating before. lol now that know that the fish is usless ill stop trying to use it to unlock the computer

if you read the 3 chips and the chats you will see that the gravity pump ripped the other ship in half and the wars
personaly i thought the army of stone heads would vlow the ship down...

Seriously a fun game took me forever to beat it, and figure everything out. Please tell me theres a Morningstar 2 in the works!

The only thing that you should have had to do in this game was cut down the mightiest stone head in the desert... wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiith... A HERRING!

if you make a 2nd morningstar you should explain the mystery of the statues and how the other astronauts died and what was the planet and how did the milatery ship get there

I have noticed that you don't use the red herring at all in the game. I have also noticed that the game was made by RedHerringLabs. Coincidence?

there should be a morningstar 2 based on morning star where morning star is going home and is still expieriencing engine trouble..

twice i tried, twice the crystal that is supposed to appear in the generator room did not appear, can anyone help me, was it because i did something wrong?

i LOVE this game played it ummm..... seven times? no six sorry. but love the beginning scene end scene love redoing the puzzles pretty much the only thing ive played for four months.... five months actually. havent used walkthrough since hmmmm...... three months and some weeks... love the game keep making these games lol click if you want morningstar 3 and 4 AFTER the second one.

Hey Barry723... If you don't know what a red herring is (look it up!) then seriously, you deserve the frustration. Actually, I'll just tell you right out- A Red Herring, by definition, is anything that diverts attention from a topic or line of inquiry- In otherwords, a false clue. It's a very famous literary device that has been used since its origination in 1807, from Sherlock Holmes novels to others, primarily in the suspence and thriller genres, and has also since been transferred to visual media- The "innocent cast in a guilty light" is a rather infamous example used almost everywhere.
