Yay for Eastern-European cuisine reference! That's how we make food here: we kill animals, grind them and them stuff them into their own intestines... sounds much more grosse that it actually is...

Please make items mutually combineable. It's annoying, that spear + string works, but not the other way around. And string + hook should combine freely also. Even before the string is on the spear!

Great quest. The only place I got stuck was the one where you have to combine wooden sword and old sign to make a new one.

Entertaining and puzzling. I'll wait for eagerly for a sequel and hopefully enjoy it as much. I liked the audio as most of these types I've played have none, at least not funny that is.

This makes little no sense and the "You cannot get stuck" is a lie unless I use the walkthrough I am more stuck then a kitten in a drain pipe. many of the very few combination I have found make little sense. and the ones that would make sense don't work or provide any clue as to why they won't work other then some canned useless response.
2/5

Hmm...I think I should go fishing, how about spear + string + hook... hmm, what should I use for bait... I know, the parrot!

Everyone knows Bread always lands Butter side down and that Cats always land on their feet.
Therefore: Buttered Bread + Cat = Anti-Gravity Engine
Makes perfect sense. :D

Very nice game, though some riddles just drive you mad. But most depressing are those parts you just don t see one item you need to move on, like the chewing gum or the almanach. A hint system that perhaps highlights needed objects after some time would be good. Quite amazing and funny storyline, so 5/5

"cat + beard + butter... WTF?!"
butterd bread allways falls on the butterd side. cat always lands on its paws. by combining both effects you get some sort of ultimate rotating, gyro-stabilizing-thingy

There were a couple of bugs: Firstly, when I tried to give the trophy to the guy who gave the knight permits it wouldn't do anything until I left the screen and came back. Secondly, when I took the crane and cable it was replaced by another crane and cable and it gave me the wrong message when I tried to take it off the tracks.

As stated before the inspiration by Monkey Island is quite clear... and that's a good thing, well executed too! Hat off to you, good sir

some small improvements could have made the experience a lot better. details like a little hint here and there (there's something shimmering in the waters / leave room to get the cat to move) or general text-issues (why would i want to make the horse white before talking to the 'guy', why wouldn't the guard let me pass when i showed him the stamped permit in dialog instead of directly) etc. other than that, nice game.

Great game, overall, although it was really annoying that things had to be performed in a certain order...had to look at the walkthrough to realize I had to do the same thing I had tried to do only a few minutes earlier to no avail
