Would do with a little logic. I mean, I just unlocked the prison cell directly IN FRONT of the Warden, and he doesn't care, really?!

Following the classic point-and-click motto of trying everything, this game sure tests your knowledge of smithing, cooking, inventing, and... a few other bizarre hobbies. The story was humorous and creative enough to keep my curiosity and attention, but I don't think anyone could pass the game without getting frustrated and lost in at least one point in the game.

An enjoyable adventure game - the puzzles all made more or less logical sense, interesting plot, quite nice graphics - look forwards to the next game by this author.

Probably the best adventure game released this year. Oldschool, with absurd jokes, entertaining as hell. What else could you possible want? Maybe a sequel?

Hmm...I think I should go fishing, how about spear + string + hook... hmm, what should I use for bait... I know, the parrot!

I wouldn't listen too much to the people complaining about the logic puzzles in this. It is clearly inspired by all of the great old adventure games like Monkey Island and the Sierra quest series. The puzzles are meant to be a bit quirky and you are supposed to use your powers of observation to find those things. The point of adventure games was that they made you think and you had such a great "oh yeah" moment when you finally worked them out (and some are supposed to make you laugh at their silliness). I think you did a great job of bringing to life a dying genre 5/5 from me :)

And so our hero, having slain the mechanical beast and rescued the princess, rides into the sunset on his mighty mule...
It's cool, I got this covered. I attended the bards college in solitude after all.

I enjoyed this, but it was a shame to miss out on the intro and ending just because I played it on mute. The rest of the game had subtitles.

So who is Hungarian in the dev team? I mean Toldy is a Hungarian name and his grandparents made 'kolbas' (properly kolbász = sausage) out of pigs :)

Very nice game, however i think teleportation would be a great addition to this game, kinda annoying having to wait 3-4 minutes for Nick Toldy to move his lazy ass -.-'

For a point-n-click adventure, it was rather well done. Very few places where you had to guess, as long as you gave it some thought. I also liked the reuse of items, in particular one item which was the first I picked up and the last I used. In between, it was something else entirely.

The puzzles are a bit convoluted (especially the mine scene), but obviously a lot of thought and hard work was put into this. Keep it up!

The best adventure game I've played on Kongregate in 5 years. Absolutely excellent writing, pacing, and puzzles. Thank you.

Nick Toldy? As in Toldi Miklós, Arany's poem-hero? Or is it just a coincidence? voice acting also makes me think the developer might be hungarian...

really long and utterly nonsensical game...might be a little funny, but incredibly tedious unless you watch the walkthrough, in which case it's pointless and boring. i was going to just get through the game with the walkthrough, thinking there were only 3 parts to it, but then i scrolled down and saw walkthrough part 4 and decided it wasn't worth it
