I like the concept of the game, but just digging the whole time gets really old. It would be a much more interesting game if you combined the digging with other action, maybe some kind of platformer or puzzle.

This is a pretty nice game however for me its just about ruined by the horizontal movement. That combined with the annoyance of having to constantly go down to look for gears then back up to make sure the swinging claw is aiming at the right spot makes me only give this a 3/5

Ok that is gay for one day I used all my tnt on one day and I saw that there was just a line of short circuits all the way across the 50 foot line.

It would be a lot better if you could shoot the hook with spacebar instead of mouse. It makes no sense to use the mouse for a single function and the keyboard for everything else.

maybe i have extremely bad luck. but im running into short circuits so fast and so often that im not getting the money to pay for more than the very first upgrade to reduce the effects of them. im actually having to save for the second

If you get hit with a powerful energy drain, you can override it by hitting a weaker one :3 Not sure if thats a bug or intended, but still useful!

If you Hit a short circuit deep where they drain a lot, as soon as possible hit one near the surface
the effects don't stack, they replace each other so instead of the 15 per second drain at 200ft, you'll be affected by the 5 per second drain at the 50 ft.
Up this comment so others can see.

Too much swinging and theres no button to retract your claw when you want. And also wats with the short circuiting its everywhere and ends your day almost instantly. The shock protection is still pretty useless

Your character shouldn't have to move so far to get the camera to move. Keep Harv-E in the center so it's not tedious to look left and right. Also an indicator of your claw would be nice while you're looking down low

i was enjoying it at first, but it ended up becoming quite tedious, the shock things were more annoying than challenging 4/5

There should be an upgrade to make the swinging slower. Anyways, good overall - 4.5/5. Not quite polished, and there are a few possible bug fixes; getting rid of the animation that comes before starting to move sideways, hitting a cog in the same pixel as a short circuit and getting them both, and rarely, having the cogs disapear as you pull them up. But overall, still fun and engaging.

man, this is so great! it's a really addictive game, and it should TOTALLY be made into a movie, you know? it has love interest, conflict, space, and robots! yeah, it would be an awesome movie.

Well, a long awaited storyline for gold miner, huh? It would be really nice, but first: it's ugly. The menu screens are messy and not clear enough. Upgrades screen is barely readable. The writing in the gameplay screen, in the ground, is unnecessary and makes it harder to aim. And the graphics overall... I don't know, it's just too... angular, and gloomy and dark too. Second: the way the game progresses makes it more and more inconvenient to play, as you can't see both the robot and the further objects you aim for, which makes you guess most of the time. The game forces you to move around more than actually play. The controls are imprecise, it's a nightmare to try to move a small distance; you have to keep the arrow key pressed all through the animation of the robot turning, and then you end up moving too far to the side. The plus side is that is is really engaging. The upgrades are all right and fairly priced. I might go back to it one day:)

@brauch - in the room before you go to the yard (begin day) it says "click on blueprint to purchase upgrade". The magnet upgrade will become handy to steer you claw (keep left mouse button pressed and hover over your claw to influence direction). Also you might want to buy some dynamite later to explore where Roxy's parts are and go there more directly. Hope this helps.

I know it`s not a new concept...............But i played till Roxy was one again..great game enjoyed for hours. Ah the mines always something new..4/5 would also be 4.5 but only for the music fun for a while then gets a bit annoying, Great graphics ..good game play all rounded great game..

This is a fine game, nothing special, nothing new.. but still very entertaining. It has a storyline, upgrades (and some good ones too), bonusses and hazards. The Graphics were a little strange to my eyes at first, it didn't matter in the end. Also a good idea to have rooms instead of menu's. Hope you got the Kongregate API implemented for badges, because i gave you a 5/5 (but a 4.5/5 if it was possible) Have Fun!

I like the game but a couple problems, I dont know how you upgrade but it seems I do automatically, umm Im not to sure if the swinging is helping. other than that Its pretty good
