I tested both HashCat and MGrashalmS's method's and i got a much higher percentage of the notes using to former (about 85% to 70%) but got much higher scores using the latter (about 13,000,000 avg to 8,500,000 avg). On the whole the second method was better.

I got the hard badge in two tries. First try: 3.3 million. Second: 5.4 million. How i do it? Pattern is straight and motion wave. You just got to collect alot of shapes. Collect as many yellows and definitely purple shapes. Try to do risk things like getting a purple near a red and make your mouse move quick to collect shapes. 5/5 game btw, nice musics.

Hard badge first try. Do your best to get all the yellows you can, but play it safe. As long as you don't get hit by a red one, your multiplier will get huge on its own

I got twice the hard badge requirements by accident. All it takes is picking predictable patterns that make dodging red shapes easy.

I kept scoring like 4.8 million trying to get the hard badge, which was quite frustrating, but then I kept at it, and ended up soaring past the 5 million mark.

I got the medal probably by luck. I got the thing that turned all crystals into yellow ones and then immediately hit a purple and sucked all those yellow ones in. My multiplier was huge!

After fighting with the brokenness of Music Catch, all four badges for Music Catch 2 were a relaxing cakewalk. I got the hard badge on my first try while unlocking options. Almost everything that could be improved has been improved. It still suffers from weird scaling, but it's no longer game-breaking. It still suffers from performance-dependent shape generation, but it's so generous that it doesn't matter. Dramatically more shapes are produced, evening out chance effects, and exactly one "yellow madness" shape is usually produced early, further tempering any luck aspect. You also now have the ability to select options that are fairer than the original rotating stage, which blindsided you with offscreen red shapes. All in all, a good game, improved further by MP3 support. Irritatingly, MP3s aren't buffered and they're downloaded every time they're played. I'd prefer to load MP3s from my computer. Badge hunters take note: radar is the highest scoring pattern, due to purple power. 4/5.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how far this one has come from the original. The badges were disappointingly easy though, I got them all on the 1st try including the "hard" one.

What you get is random there is no guarantee on how many points a level has for any setting its all on works best for you. Some games your luckier to get yellows and purples than others. Its not based on the mode though

Even if I had gotten all the yellows, an even better Yellow Madness and hit 90% of the notes, I doubt it would be 11 mil. And yes, that means I think the highscores are from cheaters.

Jonas, somehow I doubt you legit got that on the right mode because I jumped up to x66 in the first 6th of the song from Yellow Madness, got almost all the yellow and regular notes, and didn't hit a SINGLE red, but barely scraped a 5 mil.
