Tips for the 100x badge and hard badge: for 100x, forget the green and blue shapes, just go for all the yellow ones and put the pattern in 'in and out' and motion in 'right' and after you get the 100x multiplier just stay in the far corner so that you don't bump into red shapes. For the hard badge choose 'radar' and 'right' and then stay well behind the spawning line so that you can see where the red ones spawn, try to anticipate where the reds will spawn, get all the purplies, and try to get all the yellows. I got 8M in the end

Wow. A very beautiful game. It really just perks you up and helps you forget your troubles. As meaningful as it is, I still couldn't resit to put this in the URL song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tl7fGwLJMUI

If you want that hard badge, set your pattern to Radar. Other details don't matter too much, but Radar is definitely the way to go.

I am in love with this beautiful game, incredible graphics, art music and some kinds of figures that are at stake. This game makes me feel proud and piano music makes me feel poetic, I will put this game on my website.

A fantastically simple concept exceptionally well executed. If you were to host this as an mp3 visualizer app tied in to something like facebook and spotify or shazam allowing people to challenge friends to beat their high score on an mp3 and set up of their choosing you'd be up to you'd be wealthier than an angry, flappy bird that crushes candy in the blink of an eye.
Most importantly you'd deserve it too.
As I don't facebook though I'd personally request you create a wii version that allows you to schedule mp3s from the SD card so that you can leave it on the TV as a visualiser at a party and allow up to 4 people to compete simultaneously with the wiimotes.

By the way apart from being perfect this game needs high scores. Up this comment to get the developers attention maybe :)

I just played the first Music Catch and this one is definitely still as soothing as the first one. For the hard badge, it's more on the luck side rather than a skill side. I've gotten 130x end combo at the end but only scored 4mill while also getting a 130x end combo and scoring 6mill. You just have to play, don't get hit by the reds and hopefully you'll reach that 5mill mark. :)

This game is truely amazing and relaxing. it sure does show that for a game to be amazing, it doesnt require violence.

Also, if the hard badge method other people suggested didn't work for you - Try mine.
Song - Letting go (Of course)
Shapes - Floral (They are the largest)
Pattern - Radar (There seem to be twice as many notes on this mode)
Motion - Wave (Wave notes disappear the slowest)
Your idea here is to collect yellows and purples, and ultimately NOT hit the reds. In the process of collecting the yellows and purples you will hit the other notes, there are ALOT of them on radar. If you hit a red, you'll probably not make the 5000000.

Is anyone elses game offset and as a result can only see 75-80% of the screen? Making it seem impossible to get 5000000 points as there isn't enough notes on my screen.

The key to getting a high score is to get lots of yellow shapes early on. Yellows not only help you catch more shapes, they increase your multiplier so you get more points per shape. (They also give you some bonus points at the end, but those are small). Getting the Yellow Madness early on is critical, so you have a higher multiplier for the rest of the stage. (If you're lucky, you can get it right after a purple, so it sucks in all the yellows!). Yes, all this is determined by chance, so play a little into the song and then keep restarting until you get the right powerups early on. I couldn't figure out why my score would vary from 2M to 4M even when I did roughly the same thing each time; for so much to depend on things you can't control just adds frustration to an otherwise relaxing game. Also, it's much better to miss a few shapes than to hit a red and have your multiplier wrecked. And try to time when you get the yellow madness to when there are more shapes on the screen.
