I think it needs a restart button. Once you make amistake and see that you can1t get a high enough multiplier you can't finish your level.

Game used to be fun. NOT fun since the low score changes. BORING without the many yellows and purples and chances for high scores. Was DUMB to change this game. Will no longer play it.

uh...how are you supposed to get 50x? I caught every single yellow that appeared and didn't hit any reds, and ended up with 21x.

i collected all the yellows, got three purples, missed all the reds, achieved a combo multiplier of 58 and only got a score of about 1mil.

So... the hard badge is not about skill, it's just pure luck? They should try to avoid luck in badges as much as possible...

In more than 80% of the games you play it's not even possible to get to 2 million points. Finished a game, collected all the yellows didn;t hit a single red, multiplier still only 26. Points just over 350k

A beautiful game, with wondrous music. I love to play it over and over again. Awesome job, once I'm done collecting the badges for this game -- I am definitely going to play the sequel.

apparently its impossible to get two million without buying the thing... but then congregate wont give you medals will it? :'(

Developer, I see I do not stand alone stating the "impossibilities" of earning both medium and hard Badges, the most I have received (from quite a few hours I put into this game) is now up to x31, this is without missing any yellows, is it actually possible to reach these levels? I am not complaining mind you, I think it is safe to say, 'we all like a good challenge'!! Thank you for your courteous and prompt reply. GOD bless, -Marz

i think there's too much randomness, i played this one time, and i got only about 30 yellow notes, throughout the whole game, making it impossible to get the medium and hard badge

The easiest hard badge ever. Maybe because I got through an intensive training with the second one which is harder (when its 30 points badge was the badge of the day), but I got it at second try (with a large advantage over the 2M requested) together with the medium one, but only because I screwed up badly on first try. If I didn't, I would have got all three together. Very relaxing and nice.

I hate that so much luck plays into getting the hard achievement. Perfect round but only so many yellows and purples dropped, so I didn't get.

I love that the shapes travel in a gentle arch, rather than simply shooting straight up and then falling straight down again. This game is so lovely...

I caught every single yellow note, every single purple, and hit no reds. Yet I only got half of the score needed for the Hard Badge. Just what?

this game is low quality and hard to play. it makes my computer lose battery so quickly and is horrible quality. there are very hard tequniques and i hate having to click and drag the touch circle the music is laggy but overall its not 100 or 0 % but ill say its 2%

As everyone else has been saying, Music Catch is entirely too luck-based. But it's secretly even worse than that: it's highly dependent on computer speed. If your computer is too slow, the hard badge is impossible. Not "Kongregate impossible". Impossible impossible. Try running a CPU-intensive process on the same core (you can set the affinity of both processes if your OS isn't Mac). Although this game uses very little CPU and it's synchronized with its music anyway, you'll notice less shapes of all kinds are produced. I was able to slow it down such that it only gave me 9 yellows. Broken. To add insult to injury, you can't even zoom in or out, because elements won't scale correctly. In particular, the line on the rotating stage will be shoved off to a side, making the game unplayable. Of course, the stage isn't even well centered at no zoom. TL;DR: zoom to 100%, right click to set low quality, and hope your computer is fast enough. The music is nice, but the game is garbage. 1/5.

I love how I collect every single yellow shape in 3 conscutive games and make it to a multiplayer of no more than 20. In one game I didn't encounter a single purple note. As much I enjoyes the sequel which I happened to play first some time ago, I don't like the ramdomly appearing colored notes in this one. Looking at the badges I happened to make it to 1.5 million points some time ago (didn't even remember it), and I can't imagine how I could have collected that many yellow notes...
