Regarding limited ammo, no automated turret has limited ammo, they're all unlimited. Commander's personal turrets do have limited ammo, and they really need to. If I gave them unlimited ammo, I'd have to reduce their power. Although there might be lots of changes to scaling, the idea is that you want to jump to turrets when you need to, or see a good opportunity to dish out damage, if you were in them for too long then you wouldn't have time for your other commander duties.
And in case it wasn't clear, you do not actually control the turret itself, but a turret that's teleported on top of the one you click (you can often point down and see the other turret doing it's thing). Therefore, you cannot negatively impact the performance of a turret by going into FP mode, in fact, in the future you will only potentially positively impact it (will transfer experience and possibly morale boost to turret under you).

There is a major glitch in this with mini-towers. It's possible to upgrade them indefinitely and then sell for a huge amount of money. Then money is not a problem anymore. I would be nice if you could correct this. Thumbs up so the dev can see this, pliz!

I broke the game :D if you build a Sniper/cBay/Recycler, click the upgrade button a few times and then sell it, now watch your money :D

Really very interesting game, innovative idea and I like it.
But after the "Build Phase" (first level) it doesn't continue here, neither in Firefox (3.6.13) nor in Chrome. There is an empty blue rectangle in the lower part of the game window. When I click on it I return to the start window and can only play the same "Building Phase" again.
Anybody who has an idea please?

Also, agree with lovingd. We essentially have a money hack. I upgraded my weapons and now they do 10 million + damage

Nice work. Concept (and graphic) is very similar to Defense Grid:The Awakening. Not sure if coincidence but still nice work.

How come only the "good" reviews are getting + votes, and if a review doesn't meet some odd criteria of whoever is voting it gets minused out so then nobody can read it unless they click "show" which few people will, along with the fact that a certain player is being foisted upon me it sounds like some kind of "good old boy network" going on here.

One thing that would be handy is, when switching to first person, instead of just right-clicking on a structure, you right-click and drag to set the initial direction you face. That would make it a *lot* easier to take out particular enemies without wasting time swinging around to find them. Also, ***PLEASE*** add a slider or checkbox for the $&#*(@ bloom. It has become an extremely annoying fad, and ruins the look of otherwise good looking games... like this one.

The Upgrade/Sell pop up issue really breaks from the ease of the interface. When I enter the upgrade pop up I don't want to be highlighting/selecting the stuff underneath it.
Aside from that this is pretty good.

wave 4 built a sniper, accidentally clicked while over the upgrade icon, (said it was unavailable), heard a sound... now I have sniper MK2? ok, seconds later sold my sniper MK 27 for $952,115,903!
just saying...

Awsome game concept that can give others the idea of a new and fresh style of TD. Now you can actually interact with the game itself. And now that this new game running engine's come in, graphics are OUTSTANDING.

mini map is a great idea, i wish u could get smaller towers and be in ur own towers more often, since warcraft 3 ive been waiting for this, its awsomeness in a can pinniata not sure how to spell it but yea :)

This is so badass! I gotta say, getting to go 3-d in a turret to blast away at mobs is a great idea that I haven't seen before, and I freaking love it! On top of how you activate towers for use and build support towers, this is one of my newest favorite TD games!

Deedzy: The targeting used by turrets varies depending on their type. None of them target the "newest" enemies first specifically. Gun turrets target the enemy with the highest health, artillery targets those closest to escape, and missiles target the enemy closest to the turret. So, don't use a gun turret to finish off "leaks" unless it won't be near any other creep paths.

Adds a new and interesting twist to a relatively stale genre. Not saying TD games aren't fun, i'm just saying its rare for someone to bring something new to the table. Great Job 5/5. Hope to see more develop from this stunning example of a game.

To all of you complaining about how the turrets attack the newer targets instead of the most damaged ones. It's because the Gun commander (Sam) turrets will prefer targets with the most health.

Great Concept + Unity 3D = Can't wait to see the full version. Perhaps add more tower types, commanders, enemy types etc. Just make the whole game bigger and greater in general :D

Using the first Commander's turret option doesn't work too well against the ground troops, because you usually can't see too well over the edge of the TALL building you're on.

There should be a mini-map when you're controlling a commander tower 1) to see enemies from a distance and 2) to see how much havoc and destruction you are creating.

This is only the second game I've seen with the idea of you being able to shoot at the enemies along with your towers, but even the other game didnt let you see things from your tower's perspective. Very nice idea and could have more potential if added to.

unlike most other unity player games, this game has little or no lag pretty good graphics, and interesting gameplay. Best unity game I have seen so far. With a few tweaks, this could be the best game on kong!

I really like this idea. But I think it would have a better time as an actual game rather than a web game. But the concept is ingenious, the beta is really entertaining. Heck I'd probably buy this game. Keep up the good work.

Why do the towers run out of ammo? I dont understand why a tower, in a tower defense game, would ever have limited ammo. Honestly that is by far the most frustrating part of this game. is not having any towers with ammo left. This is a serious deterant for me to want to play this game. Its very frustrating.

Sucks...unless I'm getting something wrong, incompatible with a Mac. Right click? I tried Control+Left Click and Command+Left Click to no avail. Oh well, off to something else.
