Under rating threshold (show) This is sweet as hell and by far the coolest concept I've seen in awhile. I can't believe I've never come across this game considering it's a couple of years old. It'd be awesome to have more upgrade options and add in more unlockables.

Under rating threshold (show) can't even find a strategy that works on the tutorial... can i assume by "fixed micro tower upgrade bug" you mean you removed micro tower upgrades or is this game broken for me? the first person tower control seems useless, the turrets have great accuracy on their own, but once i take control it seems worse than the average bond villain... i spose with this game being a couple years old that updates to flash and firefox have killed it, shame...

It's still being worked on, wouldn't call it a sequel since what's posted here is just an alpha. It's been slow going because I did some work on Planetside 2 which absorbed much of my time in the last 2 years. Still have much work to do, but it's coming together nice. Thanks for the kind words.

Under rating threshold (show) I love it. The only thing that really bugged me was that the sell/upgrade tiles can be clicked through, so if you have adjacent towers you have to get right on the edge of the tile to make upgrades happen. Make upg/sell opaque or move them slightly. Other that than this is all kinds of impressive for a web game.

Under rating threshold (show) Instead of Ammo, why not heat? The longer the burst of fire the more heat generated that has to cool down. Great game.

The downside of using heat is it would just promote cycling through weapons at certain intervals. This in itself isn't 'bad' per se, but it’s not a clear win either. The version I’m working on now has a concept of a ‘loadout’ for weapons and deployables, and multiple weapon types, so it’ll allow me to do things like heat, or have weapons with effectively unlimited ammo just by trading something for it. For instance, if you really like the machine gun (which is now a machine gun/sniper rifle combo) you can trade some of your strategic deployables with that commander to get it, which may not be a loss for you if they’re activatables and you’re always in first person. Ultimately, the newer system I believe will elegantly solve/mitigate this problem.

This has come up before, and while I get the idea that running out of ammo is lame, without the restriction it most levels can/should be played by loading up on missile launchers and spamming the other path with artillery. With no usage restrictions on the weapons, or dramatic reduction in their power, they break many map designs.

Under rating threshold (show) Good game. Good graphics. Good turrets. 5, 5, 5. It is AWESOME that I could actually snipe a tiny aircraft far away using a CANNON TURRET, of all things. Few requests: Maybe an increase in maximum ammo? Like 50 for cannons, at least? And an upgrade tree, which lets you add special effects to the turrets. Either in-game or not, I'll still love it. I'm actually the most idiotic player in this game, reaching a 70M+ in my score, and a 7M+ in overall, thus reaching top rank. Must be the difficulty spike.

Hehe, I agree. It is being worked on, but I've also been spending nearly all my time working with SoE on Planetside 2, so it's been difficult to put sufficient time into Sentinels. I think this will change soon, as PS2 is nearing release.

Under rating threshold (show) good game but it does need imrovement, if you dont use a commander your screwed, but in my case i was daamned if i did damned if i didnt,since i had to use unity,my computer laged like a bitch making commadering a turret horrible, ive played this without unity and it now runs smoother thanks to it but now i cant play! i used to play it on a dif site since this one didnt have it.... this site does it no justice

Under rating threshold (show) I found this bug that enables you to build Gun towers using two squares instead of 4, all you have to do is build them using only the above two squares and nothing at the bottom.
