what i think would make it more entertaining would be to make an upgrade system that gives you like 2 options to make more variety in the towers. have like an option to be a sniper tower or a machine gun tower etc.

I really want to like this game. Its an interesting twist on tower defense type games. Its feel is just "off" somehow... It really doesn't feel smooth and engaging. Great try, but a near miss imo.

@yoya: Yea, there is a difficulty level 'setting', it's just not traditional. Check out the Creep Bait ability, it's basically your difficulty level, but you choose when to use it (likely reading the description will let you know the concept behind it).

Nice game. Too easy though. Or was there a difficulty setting and I just hit the easiest setting without realizing it (I do this sometimes)? I give it a 4/5.

This game does need some work, but it has huge potential. I especially like the part where you can use the turrets guns to shoot down the enemies :D very good idea there

Ok i don´t usually comment, but really love this game. Now i hate when there are things going on i don´t understand, in this game, there are two of those. 1. The special commander atack using the purple bar, i would love to see more specific information about what they really do, still barely notice anny difference using the first commanders purple bar. 2. The highscores ingame vs the highschores on kongregate, i just dont get it, how much score would u have to get ingame to score a million on the highscore? Deos it differ from map to map? Anyways, love the game, but would be awesome if some1 could sort those 2 out for me

This is the best tower defense I have ever encountered. However, I cry at the fact that my crappy computer lags with its intenseness. Would it be possible to get a quality control or something to that effect on this?

pretty good for the turrets and game play but sometimes the buildings get in your way and you can hit the ground targets maybe a update later on would make this game unbelieable

This game is now to action/TD fans what Builder is to stretegy/zombie fans. Epic Win, with only more Epicness en route with bugfixes.

great and at least to me a quite unexpected turn in the td business... great.
but it's quite buggy, for example as soon as i take command of a turret i can only fire one rack of ammo and it usually doesn't reload.
stil needs a little work but it's a great idea 5/5

This game is really good. A suggestion though, I think it might be a good idea to have a button that you can hold to repeatedly purchase a type of tower, this may be in but I can't seem to find the button myself. Also, a bug I noticed is that when the upgrade/sell icon is over a different tower, when I click on either button, it upgrades or sells the tower that the icon is hovering over as opposed to the tower I orginonally clicked. Great game though, keep up the good work!

You can also purchase an ammo resupply, it's one of the special abilities on bottom toolbar. It's a good idea to fire off as much ammo from all guns before doing that though, as it will resupply all commander ammo. It's really pretty cheap, especially if you burn up at least 2 commander's ammo (not too hard if you go nuts with artillery and missiles), but it's balanced by the fact that it's not a persistent power boost like buying/upgrading a structure.

@KalaOfer The is a limit to ammo fired in "manual control" by your team leader you can see the limit in the top right (the light brown bar) under each respective leader for each main tower type. The ammo is replenished a little after each wave ("commander ammo increased"). This was not clear to me at first either.

I forgot to respond to something from MagSun, the simulation is a bit broken, and does not resolve correctly at high speeds right now. I've made some mistakes in the simulation stuff, and will fix that. Also, yea, the AA missiles are a bit annoying too, they're currently handled 'realistically', in that they look at their target's velocity and such and attempt to intersect it. While this looks cool and all, it's not cool if they miss the target, like, ever. I'll likely make some adjustments and widen the range for a direct hit on enemies, so that the AA weapons will detonate closer to smaller enemies, should fix that.

It is possible that this is my computer, but after playing most of the way through the fourth level I my computer blacked out and I had a sound-loop. I had to restart.

can't start a game.. I only can see the intro screen and the level selector (levels can be selected)... no start button or something equal.

@ Kala, you have a limited amount of ammo, thats what it has yellow bars under the "commanders"
@Deedzy I had the same problem but then you know... I figured out you can click on the one you want your turrets to target. Though I do agree, there should be some sort of Target teh first one, Target teh last one, Target teh weakest, Target teh strongs. Teh End.

Add XP to the towers and upgrade also has to mean better range, than its a perfect TDG! 4/5 since improvements will have been done...

This... this game.... this game is the next generation of TD. Plain and simple. Personal involvement of a 'hero' type character just brings in a new element that turns this normally strategic and future planning game into a real time strategy / FPSer. Well done.

Ok, put up a new version with fix for preview mode. It was fixed by me rebuilding the thing, not good, I'd rather it be a mistake I made :(.
@Acaios: Yea, things like that are going to be done, pretty much why I pushed the game's release status back to alpha. Decided there were just too many things that needed to be there to make it really work. I'll get it there though.

Suggestion: give this game a greater goal. With battles u should be able to acquire XP usable to upgrade commander (new skills, more ammo space, more damage ecc ecc)

Quite possibly the best TD I have ever played. I love being able to control individual guns. My only complaint is that when you are in the commander mode it can be very difficult to see what you are shooting at on the ground. Fantastic. You got my vote.
