For about the third time, this is made to the same idea as every other hero vs villain game, in which an incredibly over powered hero wipes out scores of "monsters". This game is more in depth than you think, trap then a monster makes monsters more effective, as the combat turn will go monster trap monster hero etc, please don't complain about weak monsters and then massively enjoy games where they are all too weak. You can have it both ways.

I found a cool glitch! Start a game, dig just one block down under the original opening, put a lvl 3 flame trap, then put 1 gold in the block right in front of the door.

i agree and the monsters should get stronger and i dont like that traps only work once especially for being so expensive and i put 20 dollars as treasure and it made me loose all 47!

@chollandcarter i find traps use full in place of doors to keep monsters in certing rooms, but I agree with meny of the other comments like monsters leveling up / quick repair traps / skipping the chat and placeing more than 1 trap or monster a time. other than those minor anoyances, this is a cool game.

Sorry I forgot to add if not objects as bait let us use all place values like instead of 10 100 1000 put the one in too (1 10 100 1000)

love the idea, ease of play, and variety. don't like the repetition as much and the grinding due to low cash flow. many comments already made I agree with (on how to change). still, great first effort.

apologies for the double post, but the ability to either sell traps or just destroy them to clear space would make upgrading to the better traps less time consuming just waiting for the heroes to randomly break the cheaper traps (and hoping that they do not break the better ones in the process.) Monsters you can generally move to a fairly suicidal position and let them go down fighting, but traps are tough to remove intentionally.

It's a great game. Except that I had to restart because of a freezing bug. The exact recipe for leveling up your dungeon evaded me for a long time., which was annoying because it does not take very long for the level one creatures to become completely useless unless in gigantic hoard. Which is technically correct but it still makes traps much more efficient to just spam traps and let critters finish the job. I keep reading comments about how you are scared about getting sued. While EA is a evil corporate overlord the only way you could possibly be sued is to completely remake dungeon keeper in every way. As far as I know, Dungeon Keeper's mechanics have not been patented.
There is much more that can be done to the game. Giving characters more personality definitely. Giving creatures abilities.

Nice start, but many complaints.
1. Battles are too slow.
2. Monsters should heal after each hero
3. Monsters should be able to level, or at least, buy at higher level.
In short, the game heavily favors the hero, not you. Heros are stronger, can wipe out all your monsters with ease, and smash your traps. There is an endless supply of heros also.

I went to move a creature, and the little red orb was hovering about a half inch away from my cursor (usually it's right under it). Now it won't let me move the creature, and none of the buttons on the side work because the game is waiting for me to pick a spot to move the creature. I've clicked all over my map and it won't do anything. I can't even refresh and re-load because there's no save feature. What a waste of a half hour.. 1/5

It reminds me a bit of Dungeon Keeper by Blizzard. I never could get the hang of that game... It works great, but not much incentive to keep at it. It needs more unlockable features, and combat is too slow.

A watered-down version of Dungeon Defender (playable here at Kong), which itself is, uh, "inspired" by Dungeon Keeper. It's an okay game, 2/5

If you spend your way down until you have <10 gold remaining in your treasury, there appears to be no way to continue the game.

Too often the game freezes and I have to refresh the page / reconnect to the Internet to play. Please, fix this and other bugs [like the monster's unlimited health increase] within a month or 2, or I will change my 3 star rating into a 1 star rating!
