Was enjoying myself, ready to play for hours, then I hit the lasers. I barely have rhythm as it is, so they just shut the game down for me. 4/5

I get the easy badge before I undestood what I was doing...
Didn't see the tutorial while loading the game (but many comments are entusiastic, so I assume there was a tutorial)
It take a while to understand that I have to throw the bullets back to the enemies, since there is no ammo counter.
I tried to re-play to get something I miss, and I get more confused.

@shadree Your ship doesn't need to be fast since you only need move a tiny bit left and right to weave between the waves. Once it starts firing waves at differing speeds you may need to use slow time, but with that many bullets you gain charge fast enough to frequently flicker on slow time and still build charge.
In case you haven't noticed, you deal more damage after firing continuously for long enough. Beating a level quickly (meaning less time in which you could make mistakes) therefore involves building up full charge and finding an opportunity to unload the entire thing.
Any time you lose a ship, enemies stop firing for a bit. This can provide an extra opportunity to unload a full charge. Obviously this is useless for getting a perfect run, but it could serve as a cheap trick to get you past this chokepoint, then you can retry after getting the power-ups from later levels. Level 5 is fairly unique, so it is plausible that you could handle those easily despite struggling on Vela.

Was going to rate this game 5/5 until I hit Vela 5 and the bullets are too fast (or my ship is too slow). Since slow mo takes energy, that's useless.

I can't believe F-777's music used to sound like that. I significantly prefer his newer stuff (Like 1UP and Dance of the Violins)

Absolutely amazing game, only suggestion would be more explanation on the reloading mechanic, as that was a bit confusing for me.

i just want to point out that on level 10, when the music picks up after about a minute, the bullets might become literally undodgable if it starts moving. that part lasts long enough that you will get hit at least twice, probably 3 times.

Great game here, but come on, devs! You can't shoot, or even absorb, when you're recovering from a hit? What's the point of invincibility frames if you can't do anything during them?

This is such a cool game! It really makes me want a boss editor to exist for this game--where you can create bosses (or use designs in the game) and make your own bullet patterns, while syncing it to any allowed song!

I won the game, And just WOW, that final boss was hard. The credits was even harder (not really) though! either way, better credits and jukebox.. All I can say is Great game, Keep up the good work, Dont let us down, And continue to make the best games on kongregate. I <3 These games

shooting from below should be simple but no lets make a wall of bullets that cover the whole screen so you are going to be hit -.- seems fair also im not getting the input errors everyone else is getting so they have a bad computer most likely

I personally dislike the fact that you are slower than the bullets (Clockwork is frikin impossible and yeah I have the same issue with dropping inputs because too many keys at the same time). and there are no speed upgrades. I Hate the fact that I have to re-do level 1 before the actual final boss, really long and boring start of that stage, bullshit RNG. 3/5

@Zenkin Most likely, this problem is being caused by your keyboard. Some keyboards aren't able to process some keys being pressed at the same time.

AUGH, ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME!? On the Clockwork level, I've figured out that the game is VERY POOR at picking up multiple key inputs (ie: more than two). If I'm trying to shoot and move diagonally, I will shoot and move horizontally. If you're moving diagonally, you cannot shoot. WHY!?!?
