Just a guideline for those confused and can't save your father before he turns into a frog.
You HAVE to be at the magic shop the first time by 7:00 with ALL the necessary ingredients.
You HAVE to get the dragon tear and return to the magic shop by 14:00.
Next you gotta be back at the magic shop by 19:00. What to do in the 5 hours... go figure. So you should be at the gate by 20:00. If you have no idea how... That's as far as I'm spoiling the game.

3 hints for the better ending. 1: don't bother the little stuff like mopping the floor. 2: you can do it faster than the wizards 3: sometimes when u need extra money...you should just look for the MUTE button

first step : take broom . put broom in bucket ... click on brick then remove brick with broom ... click on ground with wet broom ... go outside ... take the scarecrow ... put scarecrow in bed ... go around the building to get your stuff .. go to potion place get your stuff . go to town do the 100 gold paying job .. get your blood with the cup .. i think .. then you wet the broom ... then go to potion shop ... then you should know what to do :)

For people trying to get the Badge of the Day I found I didn't get it straight away. I was about to submit a ticket but I just tried reloading and completing the last room a few times and I soon got the badge.

To mute the town crier, click the mute button on the screen then talk to the job girl. Yes, the answer is to literally mute the game. XD

the walkthrough seems to be complicatede and repeats itself(why is the 'more time needed' even there?).Can someone make ACTUAL an walkthrough?

The game is great as it is, but it's still somewhat linear, I suggest adding different endings that don't necessarily have to do with eachother and different ways of acquiring said endings.
