Nice game until you discover that you can win only with the raiders and skills (stun, quake and heal). A real strategy is not needed, I've bested some levels in 10-15 raiders above Gold Medal only in this way. I came here cuz I love Rogue Legacy, another game from this developer, but I'm a bit disappointed.

1. NEVER USE WARLOCKS. Just stun the bog tower every wave.
2. USE ONLY GOBLINS AND HEALERS. Once you have the rainbow and circus, in this order: ggHggggggHgg. That's how I won the game easily.

I absolutely love this game. I'm a filthy casual who usually doesn't have the motivation to see a game through to the end, but I couldn't stop playing this one. And I know it's an evil castle and all, but I wish it looked less rickety.

So they have turrets set up just in case monsters do come out of that suspicious portal they knew they should of destroyed?

really nice game, simple, straight forwards, and really enjoyable. but its very repetative, maybe more units? and i lvoe the upgrade tree, lots of choices to really make a custom layout. 5/5 (BTW-to win higher levels you must go back and grind the earlier levels for gold medals)

My strategy for the last level was to use Goblin,Turtle,Elemental,Healer,Golem,Goblin,Goblin,Goblin,Goblin,Healer,Golem,Turtle.For spells,I used to stun bog tower at start of every turn,when I reached the range of an atomic tower,I used quake to take out all 3 atomic towers and the middle arrow tower with quake temporarily.When it would recover it would shoot an missile on your last unit(that is,the great mammoth turtle:P). Only the turtle would be damaged as others would be constantly moving.I won gold easily with this strategy. Oh, I forgot to say, heal when necessary

Good final fantasy references.(upgrades of heal spells mention about cura and curaga). Anyways its an unique game in it genre and it has much potential as well.I also liked the part to be evil.(I personally like villains over heroes.Good job creators.This deserves a 5/5:)

Well maybe he just likes making his minions suffer after all it's not like he loses anything even if his minions fail.

Oh, this game is awesome! 5/5. I think there should be a tag "reverse TD" to find these few games like this. Anyone can tell me are there others on Kong?

Great Game! 5/5! But the Throne Room Award that requires you to play for 1 hour in total resets if you go to menu. Is this programmed to?

Not related to the game but since when have forced video ads been a part of kongregate? i've been playing on here under several different profiles (due to forgetting passwords) for god knows how long and have NEVER had a forced video ad before playing a game! What's the deal?

So I think this game was epic in 2011 (but borning) and now it is eh ... to many borning! I played 1,5 hour and i have rainbow (yey) 1 hour = 18k gold O.o I rated this game 1/5 stars.

This evil overlord charges into battle without charging his mana bar first. Then he sends minions into the line of fire without making any attempt to find an alternate safer route. Then he sends injured minions along the same path again even AFTER he has healers. And when that's not enough, he doesn't even bother to disable the towers BEFORE sending his minions in. Seriously, they say he was evil, they never mentioned how strategically incompetent he was.
