Nice game and quite addictive. Could probably do with a few extra elements to keep people playing longer - 4.5 out out 5.

I'm not a tactic ace and I'm not into tower-defense-games. But still I made it just through the game without any major problems.
I hope there will be a continuation, not quite so easy to win! That would be even more fun :) .... er.. I mean *evil-smiley*

The more I play, the more I'm finding spamming Summon, Goblin HP and the spell trees are the way to go. Just send out 12 Goblins...

there needs to be another type of seiging troop, like at the start-ish part maybe just after cleanse warlocks are bought that way the entire game isn't just guarding the goblins the other could be like, more health or does 2 points of sieging per wave it makes or something like that, or have it have both of those and a debuf of something like "cannot be healed" or "atracts fire more than turtles"

also, get the turtle hp. then path infamy. then circus. radius of troopas more effective! keeps troops entertained, and upgrade covers one addiontal summon.

press plus to keep this alive:
once you get summon and things, get cleanse warlock. get cleanse hp up, then get the kongergate chest from your castle. then you get achivement for the throne: pile of loot. plus bonus 2000 infamy! Score!

For once a tutorial that doesn't hold your hand through it for an easy win. It actually fails you so you can go back with better stuff without a tutorial. Also kinda shows the importance of upgrading your castle. With all that in mind, it's also not a game where once your past that you give up due to boredom/confusion. 5/5

And the phrase in the beginning :"this is not tower defence game" didn't let me do HUGE mictake and leave the game.

O.K., after level 15 the lag is so bad that timing or even activating spells is next to impossible...so"next" that impossible gets chafed!-game over.

Can I just keep sending weak units to collect more "infamy"until I can buy all of the upgrades and then go on to level 2?

With most of the improvements I got all golds by a wide margin with. Turtle. Golem. Priest. GobboX5, Golen, Priest, GobboX2. First few rounds keep healing the Turtle till it gets to expensive. Nuke the bog tower at the start of every round. When it gets too expensive to heal start with the quakes and nuking tower but always with the nuking of the bog tower. With enough spell power and 7 gobbos a trip you can get through the 6 times you need to win without the towers getting overpowered. Also allows you to save by avoiding clense and elemental upgrades. Not the only way, just the way that worked for me.

i got all gold medals and got the hard badge already. these order work well on every level.

I personally found this to be the best group with 12 units.
1. Turtle 2. Goblin 3. Goblin 4. Golem 5. Priest 6. Goblin. Elemental 8. Golem 9. Priest 10. Goblin 11. Goblin 12. Goblin
This worked for me on the final mission as well. One of the keys to this game is using your spells wisely. Stun bog/towers and single nuke towers every round.
