Under rating threshold (show) A great idea and well made takes a while to get used to the controls and the spacebar drop acts a little weird (One press move one down instantly hold down and it takes a while before it notices it) and maybe a little too easy. 3/5 better spacebar drop and higher difficulties and you got a 5/5

Thanks for the feedback, I see where that spacebar thing comes from, your operating system (I suspect windows) is firing multyplie keydown events when you hold down a key (spacebar in this case) after a while (like when you type in an editor and hold it down to type many spaces), I think changing it to "move down while holding, except when a new piece is spawned" could fix this, not sure if I find time to do it, though, I'm pretty busy right now.

Under rating threshold (show) I was surprised at how quickly I got somewhat used to the controls, if you've played a lot of regular Tetris the jump isn't huge. My bigger issue that I could imagine cropping up on higher difficulty is that it's not always clear at a glance exactly where a piece is in the middle while near the top. Some sort of gentle highlighting or different color would be a nice QoL change. A quicker increase in difficulty, or some kind of difficulty/game mode controls, are on my wish list but as is I will definitely play it when I have a couple minutes free. 5/5 with grade inflation, add in Clear X Lines (timed) as well as high score mode for 5/5 without grade inflation

Under rating threshold (show) interesting idea, but controls are too hard to get used to, and the space bar control is too unresponsive: every time I press it it takes a while to work, and when it finally does work, the next piece falls halfway down before i can release it

Thanks for the feedback, spacebar was ment to lower the piece one block per press, but as it reacts on "keydown" it reacts on the rapidfire emulated by your system, I detailed it on Catguys comment, not sure if I find time to fix it.
