Wow 5/5 this is the kinda game you could build an entire gaming website around, eventually, even giving away points for various achievements, and have said point really have no point to them other than to boost your level higher which in turn only proves you need to go outside more, then sell said company to another company and then add a Gaming site + for people that wanna spend a little extra cash on gaming.....

I don't understand all the random love for this game, age is not a fair reason to judge a game. Nor a fair reason to respect it. Not to mention, Kongregate would be no different today if this game did not come along, it's nothing in comparison to the other games that brought over hundreds and thousands of people to this website. Not to mention it is a simple game, with nothing in the way a replay value other than "Try to beat your previous score!" so I see no reason to continually play it. Falling off the pillar is a nice touch, but the problem is that this is supposed to be a fast-paced climbing game, and you are supposed to quickly reach the top, near the sides. Needless to say, that's quite a hindrance, you could argue that it just adds to the challenge, but I just see it as a way to slow the pace of the game, which would make sense, but you have few other hindrances to make you adhere to a slow pacing, with just the falling rocks, you feel like moving quickly.

Haha, if i would have been here for 5 years ago and played this game i'd never would return... haha lucky i didn't, but here i am lvl 51, thank for Tower Defence <3, btw duck you and death to you creator of this game...

The game that started it all, gives me an odd feeling of nostalgia towards Kong. In many years if something happens to this site I hope i can come back and play this game followed by all my favorites and remember a happier time in my childhood where I could let go and just enjoy a good game.

Why does this game always only get: "First game on Kongregate!" and usually little else in the way of actual criticism? Maybe this game should also be judged for the game it is, rather than have that overlooked because it's the first game ever. Either way, it still is a noteworthy achievement, just, can't we also look at the game as a game?

Hey, guys, stop talking about the fact that the game is the first, talk about the game itself! Comment on the game, not the date it was posted. Tip: If you have to climb a two block path (or are forced to), you need to press left and right repeatedly to climb.

Please respect this game. Ok it was just a joke this game has terrible things and goodd things first of all the controls are awesome second the gameplay looks brilliant. Third the instructions tell you everything you need to start except for the controls of how to mine. Great idea of how all of this works great game but it is too small and it can be toooooooooooooooooo easyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. So i can give it a 3.78 out of 5.
