Fun game to play real quick and all. Only if the weapons on your tower did more, the king went faster (even upgrading it all the way still felt slow) and if leveling up meant something like stat increase. Still fun good game though

This game is about the size of a postage stamp on my 2560x1600 display. Update your .SWF and let players choose "Show All" from Adobe Flash's context menu.

honestly? most of these comments are just people complaining. the game is great alot of fun and the stuff you guys are BYTCHING about? is what makes the game a challenge. duh

gets boring after you bought everything wish you could hire guards i give 3 stars thats good from me becase im like symon but with stars not singing

Its so stupid to have the next button like it is. Its annoying to double click and not be able to upgrade being forced to go through a level again to upgrade. This caused me to repeat level 8 like 5-6 times because my weapons was way to low

@carey man: Ya know, if everyone else is posting encouraging or otherwise fuuny comments, do u know how dumb you look posting one about how it sucks? Its all an opinion.

the main problem is the fast zombies, tone them down because your dead if you get stuck between the two, especialy when i stun them and go to run and another spawns -.-

Making melee suicidal is only remotely strategic if your ranged attacks do not have a ridiculous range shadow. 1/5 for the crappy minimum range on the bow coupled with the overall tediousness.

This Game SUcks REALLY bad!!
Reasons:
Once there are too many zombies you are doomed,
you die way too quickly,
the upgrades don't help very much,
upgradeing the castle does nothing whatsoever!!!
0/5!

SO much potential. More upgrades for the castle, more control over upgrades, more weapon choices, and ditto to most of the other suggestions that have been made. Zombie at the Gates 2 will be INCREDIBLY addicting. Please make it happen.

More abilities would be awesome. Once you bought them all, you end up piling up stars for nothing. How about improving the stun time or the stomp range? Otherwise great game!

This game is broken in so many ways AND boring. Ending was a huge anticlimax too. Limited controls, limited variety and difficulty curve, unnecessary upgrades, meaningless choices all over the place.

Looks nice, but don't like the fact I can't pick up everything before the level automatically ends. My OCD forces me to give this game 3/5.

The stomp is super effective at keeping zombies alive so you can hit all the crates. My only problem is that if the tower has a weapon it can shoot a stunned zombie and break it out of stun, it makes it more difficult to survive when you are surrounded in the center of the field.

I have a stategy. Actually two strategies.
1. YOU RUN AWAY FROM ZOMBIES, AND GO INTO ARROW RANGE ( iF ZOMBIES COME FROM BACK STUN THEM AND THHEN COME TO STRATEGY 2)
2. YOU RUN INSIDE THE GATE, AND STAND BY THE GATE WHEN YOUR IN IT. THEN KEEP STUNNING ZOMBIES COME OUT OF THE GATE SO YOUR STANDING IN THE OPEN GATE DOOR HIT THE STUNNED ZOMBIES, AND KEEP REPEATING THIS. (THIS DOES TAKE A WHILE, BUT ITS WORTH BEATING THE LEVEL. (IF ONE OF THESE STRATIGIES HELP + THIS COMMENT IS NOT - IT IT WON'T HURT MY FEELINGS, BUT TRY IT BEFORE YOU JUDGE IT.)

Gameplay and balancing mistakes. It is far too viable to just keep one zombie alive to get all resources from the boxes. This restricts rational playing choices to solitary long walks left and right to get all crates. Nice idea, but 2/5.

I couldn't help but notice that he almost always has the same bored facial expression. You would think that since his life is in danger he would at LEAST look concerned once in a while.

I have played worse. Nice layout/UI, you got a glitch with the boxes and the king running, if a box is getting spawned the king will only run slow even if I upgraded his running speed, if a box is not getting spawned the king can run pretty fast. And yep would like some sorta jump.

It was ok. If you like scrambling from door to door from zombies with massive spears as you try to grab any tools. Ok here's a good question, why can I pick up one of those spears or shields? If I can already carry a sword and a bow why can't I drop one and take the other weapons? I really wasn't very impressed by it, though it was a good idea. I think the zombies should've been able to slowly pass by the gates so you didn't have to room clear them. To me it feels broken, not sure about anyone else. 3/5

i would love to see more functional upgrades like faster attack speed and faster stomp recharge...perhaps the ability to jump and maybe some short range combos to make short ranged attacks more useful.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay some tips that may help some of you is you should upgrade your health right away! The magnet should be the last thing you worry about. And the speed is essential too, but not as much as the health because YOU will die if you don't have good health.

close range weapons have such a short range they're kinda useless, and ranged weapons not hitting close zombies doesn't make any sense whatsoever. sure, i can shoot something twenty feet away with a bow, but if i performed the same shot and something was two feet away, it's not like the arrow would just miss it because it's not at long range... 3/5 cause I really want to like this game but it's just not quite there

Great game until it got hard WAY too fast. Did not enjoy how repetitive it was. This game would get a 5 star rating if you made it a little more easier.
