it was alright, i felt it was a bit too easy though, all you really had to do was bow everyone and wait for the gold box to respawn, it was also frustrating having the enemies with pikes etc kill me because i couldnt get far enough away to use my bow in time.

this games i sbroken: bad controls, safe zones doesnt work, upgrade system is mysterious,no auto-pause if game loses focus, scrolling mucks up the game window.Why can't I attack by clicking?Needs lot more testing, more develeopment time.This is an unfinished game.

Great game! I enjoy it very much. The art direction and the music is very lovely and match fully with the game style. However, the weakness is actually in the game play. Flying Castle upgrade is almost uncontrollable and the different resource are not really differentiable in term of function. Weapon upgrade is just by the ATK different and does not add much variable in game play.

When you get hit, you should be invicible for a few seconds, it's annoying when you are fighting and a zombie spawn in your back so you are trapped

Once you've gotten into it and understand the controls and stomp It's a very good game, but it just needs more stuff to do than juggle zombie mashing and material grabbing. It could have choices of upgrades instead of the linear progression like you choose, have a longer range bow or a more powerful bow. But a game well worth playing!

The concept is a great idea, however not being able to increase the range at all makes it really tough when two zombies can kill you extremely quickly if they are quick or ranged and just sit by the gate, waiting. Very promising game though.

as BOOMSKY has said before let the zombies crawl around in the area past the boat but leave about kill about 3 or 4 of them there and leave 1 left in that area. Kill the rest in the middle area and DONT kill the one past the boat. Now collect all the boxes and if you do this for each game you can get atleast 2 gold boxes each game. Keep doing this until the boxes dont spawn and there are no more resources to collect. Then kill the last zombie and you get about 60 gold and 15 stars each level, maybe more.

Dear Sir Ridlake, This game is the finest castle defense game, but there is one missing button that we need , the jump button... if u can kindly put the jump button in.. Zombie at the Gates will be the mose coolest castle defense game. in kongregate. 5/5 to the game ^_^

Great game, i knew i love Armour Games for a reason. 4/5 my only issue is the length and the safezones; they can qet quite repetitive. Would also be nice if the zombies could pop up in other areas also, rather than be stuck in one zone.

1. What happened to the guards??? you fight later ones but there were two in your tower 2. what is the point of different resourses when you dont actually use them? 3. why dont zombies attack your castle. they are smart enough to know you are there, so why dont they attack it to get to the chewy center? 1/5

The "Safe Zones" are pretty much death traps. You either need to make the zombies all gather at the gate, or have them walk away. Right now, they all walk mid range and are pretty much un-killable.

the way the zombies group themselves outside of safezones its impossible to stun them all and escape. The is extremely annoying on later levels when there are lots of enemies. You should be able to upgrade the stomp hit, it would be easier if it had increased duration or area.

It looks like it could be really great, but in practice, it's not. too annoying when the zombies corner you and your weapons are too weak. also can't control what you build.

I hate when I drop a coin, fall into a well, and come back and find out everyone became a zombie. Good thing I have a stick and a zombie weaponsmith.
