I can't get it to work. first it kept teleporting me all over the place and refusing to let me talk to an npc or open doors, now all i get is a white screen of death (I'm using internet explorer)

(im the guy that had the window close on me) well, i rebooted, like, 10 times, and in firefox, it closes, in chromium, nothing happens, those are the only ones i have, im using linux, java installation pretty much hates me so im stuck with this version.... oh, why? why must i be a NoobTaco? D: (P.S. it works in windows at a max of 2fps)
Hmm linux java... check to make sure you're using official sun java package (I've also heard OpenJDK works, but no guarantees). You may need to follow a linux/java HOWTO for your distro to get everything working just right.

By the way, did you get a inspiration for this game? Like how I'm working on my own RPG, my inspiration was FFTA series.
Thanks, original inspiration when I started this game (many years back) were things like ultima online & construct mod & MUDs/MUSHes/MOOs, and of course there are many more modern inspirations to draw from these days as well

Dont work, i have the latest version of java. i can run minecraft and other java things, but this one tells me to update my java. i try it but nothing happens, and i did all stuff in the FAQ and it still doenst work.

Seems like a nice game, but i'm not going to play it further, because I don't want to search alot of times for a place to build a house, only to lose it later because I can't find it back in that labyrinth.
Best strategy is to use a telepad to an established town and build next to it. Or, use /loc to mark the position. Or, buy your own telepad. More info in the FAQ :)

The game's concept is good, the execution is a bit sluggish and clumsy. Not sure if it's just me, but dialogue and attacks are a bit laggy or something - I press E and the dialogue appears a second later. Also, players build all this stuff and I can't find a place to build a block for Draco The Architect. Also, I don't think it's very newb-friendly. 3.5/5
Hmm, sounds like you might be far away from the server. Sorry about the lag. Regarding building, see the FAQ about some quick methods to find open space (use telepads)

I think this game has great potential but I don't think the obtaining of objects was very thought out. I need to travel a ridiculously long way to get anything. I would also like to see more weapons and types of weapons, as well as perhaps armor. I see much room for growth, but that's a good thing. 5/5. Well done.

i Was so close to posting on the 8BitMMO forums to put this game on Kongregate and here it is! Thanks you so much! The game is pretty good, i haven't really gotten the hang of it yet. I cant wait for more content! Hopefully one day, i cant wait, 8BitMMO will surpass...Minecraft? Who know, i see potential.In a way, this is a great free version of Mineraft, and definitely can be with a few more updates! Keep up the good work!

Great idea and realisation. I think it needs the possibility to use a guest account without any features, also chatting should then be disabled, cause of spammer etc. Maybe people just like to see what others have build without registing an account.

not bad game, people will get angry when start building things especially towns/homes next to each other, be prepared for that if the game gets overpopulated. I notice tension already while browsing the chat.

Add races.
Add a bank and more permanent official buildings (jail, fountain, statues, different stores, etc)
Add stat points when we level up.
Nope, shouldn't be any resets or save data loss at this point. Thanks for the suggestions, also, if you can put them in the Suggestion Box website, that helps me keep track of them

According to reviews I'm not sure I believe, the game designer is apparently an ex producer (trainee or what?) at Microsoft who's been working on this game since 2001. ELEVEN YEARS?!
