I completed the game with no glitches.
just press the switch(at the time machine) on and off
once in every 3 visits to the time machine and there are no glitches.

I finally got the badge recently. Play through the game slowly, don't try to pick up duped items, go to the worlds minimally, do nothing during the animated moments (like monster waking up), and don't put items into your inventory until you have to, then items shouldn't duplicate. Put items back in your inv. before using the Toilet (paw empty). I can't promise this way is 100% bug free but after playing it repeatedly, either it's fixed so this isn't necessary (plausible since L057x also got it), or this is one of the few ways that doesn't glitch out the game, or we're lucky. I use the updated version of Firefox and skipped the intro if that helps. Complete Monster world first. Then go to Castle, scoop poop with spade before putting in inv, use bucket on well. Now go complete Dino. Go back to Castle and finish the rest. NOW complete Mummy and after, use all time pieces. Complete Island and you should get the badge. I won't go into detail because of character limits, walkthrough helps.

I don't get the item duplication bug, but I get a panda duplication bug that is also a stopper. Panda that sits in the chair in the control room can get stuck and persist on screen as a clickable object, so when you go to a scene, there will be two pandas - the small one that you control and the (relatively) huge one that still "sits" where the chair was. It covers exactly the area where Merlin conjures the time machine part, so the part cannot be collected.

I just tried to see if changing browsers could make it work.
It didn't work on google chrome, firefox or internet explorer.
Really, I have no idea what i should do.
(I wonder if the developers will fix it one day, it seems like it's the only way now)

Seems like a fun little point and click, but I can't play it because of item bugs. Sometimes I can't use something from inventory, most notably the shovel.

I just found a bug, sometimes when your at the part after prehistoric to medievial, it didnt let me use the shovel to pick the plant up.

The bug everyone is obsessed with is specific to some browsers! I have that bug in Mozilla Firefox and do not have in the Internet Explorer (have not tried other browsers, and IE is IE11, not really sure about other versions). Hope this helps.

I thought people were overreacting about the bug complaints but man, they weren't kidding. It's so bugged, it can't even be completed. 1/5 for lacking the most important aspect of a game: playability. Don't waste your time, guys. Consider this medium badge the most impossible badge on Kongregate.

its actually impossible to complete, 2 hours step by step walkthrough and cant complete. I can get all the way through to the point where i have to dig up the plant but it wont let me use the shovel in my inventory to collect it, and also the 2nd shovel which appears neither works, THIS IS A WASTE OF TIME DO NOT PLAY.

dont waste your time with this game its way too buggy, would have been ok if you didnt have to restart about 6 times because of bugs.

Old game, so probably no chance of the bugs being fixed. as others said, if you pick up an item that you already have, you can't put it down or get anything else from your inventory.

I can’t complete the game because of a bug: while in the walkthrough the items disappear after the person collects them in a time, when I play, they reappear. If I pick up the matches, then exit that time, then return to it, the matches are there again, but also in my inventory. This makes it impossible to use these items in that time again; if I have the matches on the ground AND in my inventory, the ones in my inventory aren't clickable and the ones on the ground can't be used anywhere on the screen, can't be put back in the inventory and you can't go back in the time machine. You’re stuck. You need to bring the shovel in the 1st time and THEN use it again in the 2nd time, where the bug will occur, making it impossible to pick up the plant. Since some people got the badge, it seems this bug doesn't happen to everyone or started bugging recently. And someone else mentioned this bug, so I’m not the only one. Or, if everyone gets this bug, it seems there's a solution that I don’t know.

Another way to get the 15 gram of gunpowder should also be supported.
You have a scale, and a 10 gram weight. First you measure 10 gr gunpowder on the scale with the weight, and put it into the cannon.
Now you put another 10 gr gunpowder on the scale. You put the weight off the scale, and divide with the scale the 10 gr gunpowder to 2 equal amounts, of 5 gr. Put also 5 gr into the cannon.
10 + 5 = 15, so the amount should be all right.

Every time I go to the prehistoric zone a big version of panda in a sitting pose blocks some of the screen (the same sprite that is inside the time machine sitting) when I click on it the game reacts like I clicked on the panda... So now I see two pandas and some of my screen is blocked...
