Under rating threshold (show) Hey man, very nice rts with unique topology of the game, totally new experience, but the game is lacking in... level editor! Your campaign really feels just like tutorial and after i really started to comprehend the flow of the game it ended :( I have no doubt that with level editor people would make levels that would keep others playing this game for a long time. Anyway, gg.

Level editor is planned for the next version. All the levels are done with it already, but it would have been too much work polish it for the first official release ;).

Under rating threshold (show) Mission 16: Capture router down, then GPU1 that's down and right. By then, green has taken router below his CPU1. Attack his router being fed by his CPU1, using my GPU1 that's being fed from the router being fed from my CPU1. My GPU1 has 8 points, and growing, but CANNOT capture his router with ZERO. I'm attacking a router using a supposedly "strong" GPU1, my GPU has 8 points, the router his zero. Why am I not capturing it?

Are you attacking a hub (you did call it router). Well if the hub is not supported then its a bug, otherwise the support is flowing fast into the hub, preventing the take over. Maybe a little more feedback needed here. Thx for letting me know, helps to improve the game.

Under rating threshold (show) Biggest weakness of this game is being unable to play Hard or Absurd right away. Playing throught normal was painfully boring because it was WAY too easy. I mean its obvious how nice the game is, but god, can we have a little bit of challenge? Then once i finally unlock hard after beating every levels easily, the first 10 levels have been even easier than when i started playing normal (because i learned the game). Come on =/ Just let those harder modes be unlocked right from the start so people can actually have some challenge whitout having to complete a bunch of super easy levels. Other than that its a pretty awesome game, i would love to see a multiplayer mode of this.

You are right and wrong at the same time. I have a lot of ppl telling me that the game is far to hard and vice versa. I have a good idea how to change that in the sequel. You will be able to get stars for each level, when beating the next difficulty, this should make it much more convenient for all player levels. Thanks for the feedback! :)

Under rating threshold (show) I like the upgrade system, and there is a hint of teaching people about computers in this game. Yes, it may be much like any other game of this type, but it's still fun to play.

Under rating threshold (show) i see a lot of complaints as to the +5 when you capture a node, heres a suggestion, instead of giving +5 to a captured node, give the node invulnerability for 1 second, this way you cant take advantage of it offensively, as you wont have anything inside the node to begin with. Also over the next 4 seconds (use a glowing effect) increase that nodes defencive abilities by around 4x, which over the 4 second duration slowly returns to normal. This allows even far away nodes to have a chance to support a newly captured node, whilst forcing players to put in some defence so as to "how long should i wait before i recapture"

Under rating threshold (show) Indeed the element of tactics is lost as the game gets to the point where it required a fast eye and hand and little time to think--constantly making split second decisions. But then again that's probably because I never release the space bar when playing :D 4/5!

Under rating threshold (show) 4/5 Great game, I like the different nodes and the AI feels kinda ok. My only issue is the +5 units you get every time you conquer a base. That means punching a hole in the enemy defenses is not only good (which it should be), but almost always a guarantee to win, since you get awarded even more units for the consecutive conquers. I have the feeling, it's a bit too much slippery slope there making come-backs never happen. It feels less strategic and more chaotic that way imho.

Under rating threshold (show) Short update on the update :). I have to rework the savegame to support more difficulty levels. Will take the whole weekend. So update will take till sunday. Hope you got some patience. Update will include an easy mode, reduced difficulty levels, and absurd (very hard) mode, adjusting of the colors (for colorblinds) and some smaller bug fixes.

Under rating threshold (show) I don't know if this is the cause but I won a game and changed tab, pausing it in the process. When I came back I went to level select from the auto pause (Instead of closing the pause menu and clicking next level like I had been doing) but when the level select opened it wouldn't let me select anything at all.

Under rating threshold (show) Also, i'd like to make a small suggestion, not sure if this is something you had in mind in your strategy type game. It would be really cool to make decisions while paused, some of the levels have so many things happening so quickly, its hard to manage everything. otherwise looking forward to your updates :)

Yeah, some other suggestions were to regulate the speed, which would be a straight forward solution (only a good interface idea needed). The problem with this is current AI. Its dumb and relies a lot on speed.

Under rating threshold (show) An encyclopedia of what each unit does would have been nice in addition to more info on what each unit does. But truth be told, aside from the faster movement node, I would prefer hthat there were fewer units as the attack/defense nodes were annoying and ALWAYS in the most annoying and non-strategic spots imaginable.

Under rating threshold (show) Easily the best node defense game I've played ... much more strategy and thought put into it. The only thing it would be nice to see is an instructions screen that more clearly explains the differences between the nodes and the benefits/cost of upgrading each type.

Under rating threshold (show) Well, I give up...Lv 23 is just next to impossible to defeat. Green does nothing but try for one circuit, purple and orange attack me and orange attacks purple. waiting made no difference. upgrading, made no difference. Hard...it should be listed as IMPOSSIBLE

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game, except for the uneven distribution and power levels in the later levels. For example, in the last level, you have a level 3 RAM and so does the other guy. Yours regenerates at a crawlingly slow speed, while the other guy's zips along as it says it's supposed to. I don't mind a challenge, but don't mislabel things. That can take it from challenging to frustrating because it makes it hard to appropriately strategize and also leads to that irrational feeling that the AI is "cheating". Still a 4/5, the above is a hardly a game killer!!

The AI is quite dumb and can be tricked easy, if you know how it is reacting. That's why it has more power and stronger nodes. Obviously normal mode is too challenging, that is why I will introduce an easy mode in the sequel.

Under rating threshold (show) The other thing i think LordBucket was saying, when an opponent overtakes a node, they get 5 power points in it, so in the GPU vs HUB scenario, the hub will win and put 5 points in a gpu, which makes it even harder to get back. My best example of this is level 12, I rush to take out the orange cpu, and then i start an infinite battle for the gpu in the center, the battle never ends because the gpu can never solo down a hub, their attack speed is too high. When i try to, the hub attacks me and i lose all my power, which was en route to the hub, the hub then over takes the gpu and puts 5 points in it, and now i'm behind purple by 5 points, giving purple the victory. Its just a little unbalanced that you lose all the power that was "mid-air" if the node goes down before the power reaches its destination

The 5 points were necessary to give the winning attacker a little advantage, because otherwise possession would switch so fast you wouldn't realize and your connections would go off faster than you could attach them back. But I agree that the HUB is currently too strong, as stated in LordBucket's great jpg! :)

Under rating threshold (show) don't run yourself too much into multiplayer. do a good sequel with the changes you already mentioned. i'm already excited about the new nodes ;) if it's balanced, and all is cool THAN do a multiplayer if you want to. a multiplayer which isn't perfect from the beginning will never ever get enough players again. but if you're ready, a multiplayer would be cool, for sure. but look at the phage wars multiplayer and don't do the same thing wrong. if you implement upgrades, do not give advantages to the people who play more. skills should be the only thing making you better, not the time spent. just saying :)
