Under rating threshold (show) 23 on hard is absolutely impossible. The game is AWSOME...but Orange just takes everything out. I have tried quick advance and also sit there and wait for them to kill each other. However, that never happens. Orange just takes over everything, every time.

Thanks for letting me know. The level is beatable, but obviously too hard. I will soon post solution videos for each level.

Under rating threshold (show) I'm actually quite surprised at how low the rating is; the genre may be nothing groundbreakingly new but it's certainly not a bad one, and this one happens to be done exceptionally well. I'd have to say this deserves no less than a 4.05, it's quite a shame. That's not even counting the amount of feedback the developer's given; kudos to you, I say.

+ - !

(5)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

Wow, thank you. I think the rating is so low because of the difficulty of some levels. An easy mode is really necessary and some levels seem too hard. I am still learning what difficulty is ok for most of the ppl.

Under rating threshold (show) Excellent game, but I noticed a few bugs and issues: 1. Occasionally the green ring around a certain node would refuse to load, and would have a little thumbnail in (what would be) the top left corner of said green ring. 2. If you create two connections from one node, and one of the things that the node is connected to is full, the node won't send any charges to either node. 3. I'm not sure what the gray bars in nodes mean (the ones that turn colored while upgrading). They appear to be inconsistent because in H (non-production) they seem to indicate how full the node is, but in the rest they don't change. Thanks for any fixes, you've got a gem here, it just needs a bit of polishing!

+ - !

(2)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

Thanks for your feedback. I will look into those issues ASAP.

Under rating threshold (show) I have to agree with a number of people, I cannot seem to find a way past level 23. Despite this, it is still a very good game, well thought out, simple yet challenging. Something I have noticed which annoys me, not sure if others have or not, is that it is difficult to determine whether a hub is at level 2 or 3 - the numbers on them look nearly the same (H-2 and H-3). Currently 4.5/5 (Round to 5/5), and favorite. Keep up the good work!

+ - !

(2)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

Thanks for the feedback. You are right about the hub level, its not really good readable. Will try to fix that soon.

Under rating threshold (show) The thing with 23 is you have to remember ram is good at defense. If you sit back and do nothing the comp will wear itself down, then there will be a window where you can unleash your ram and quickly take over. I wonder if some hint system would help with those levels, rather than changing them.

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

I am planning to record videos for every level to help players to find a good tactic. If you guys want to help me there you are welcome and can post videos to the comment section. I would gladly use them. :)

Under rating threshold (show) -Impossible mode, I would Absolutely LOVE to try to do the impossible in this game and win against odds i shouldnt be able to, but only unlock this extra difficulty once you win the game, your "hard" mode is pretty good :D, and i dont want to scare off new players who want to try to do the impossible immediately and miss out on all the cool stuff later on by quitting early Other than the Obvious, your extreme AI (and consider this for regular AI) could not leave RAM and CPU chips undefended, the amount of times i won because i suddenly jumped into a HUB and machine gunned a RAM chip which won me the game is off the scale, i thought "if only he left 3-5 defenders i couldnt do that... having a HUB upgrade would be nice too, for the cost of 30-40 i would like to increase the power of HUB's attack, as sometimes i prefer the Hubs speed over the GPU's Slow moving Energy nukes of doom

+ - !

(0)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

Yeah impossible mode would be a nice idea, wrote it down to my list for the sequel. The hub is a little overpowerd at the moment, will need some rework for the sequel.

Under rating threshold (show) It takes a lot to actually make me comment on a game, Congrats, you have made me do so Definately the best nano-war game i have played - like Brad789 said in the top comments, one of the biggest issues is i almost quit after seeing it was just nano wars, one thing almost made me quit, before the game proved to be extremely strategic and fun :D -sometimes the Tutorial was in the way, like, REALLY in the way, mostly it was the ones where i had to click the arrow to progress to the next chat block, i noticed space bar skipped those... after i had finished the game.. -_-. could u announce that space bar is a hotkey to progress?

+ - !

(0)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

Thanks a lot for your feedback :). Space bar is speeding up the game. You can skip the tutorial, just press "skip tutorial" on the right lower corner.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game, i haven't played anything like this in a long time, my only complaints is that it lacks variety and I'm constantly curb stomped into a small mechanical paste on level 23, none the less 4.5/5

(2)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

Thanks, I will look into 23, seems ro be really difficult.

Jan. 11, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) I was ready to give the game a 5 out of 5, but then found out that the AI actually have faster spawn rates then you, which disappointed me.

+ - !

(3)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

No thats not true. AI does not cheat. In some levels it starts with higher upgraded chips, so it has a small advantage over the player.

Under rating threshold (show) As long as people are making suggestions, I think there should be something saying "this tower produces X packets per second, attacks at Y/s, defends at Z/s" or something along those lines. At the moment you just have to keep playing and getting a feel for how towers work when something like that would allow people who haven't spent much time to still play with strategy rather than fumbling through it.

+ - !

(4)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

You are absolutely right, this is definitely missing and will be added in the sequel.

Under rating threshold (show) First and foremost, I am not a fan of the NanoWar type games, so when I saw one of the top comments compare it to nano war, I was not quite inspired to play this. However, it was quite good when i sat down and played it for a couple hours. It kept me entertained, and that's saying something, for a guy who was never impressed by this genre. 5/5!

Under rating threshold (show) Its worth noting that connecting in multiple paths to the same place really speeds up power flow. If you have a level 3 of something, its better to connect it more then once if possible, to maximize output

+ - !

(1)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

Depends on the node, but For CPUs thats defintely true.

Under rating threshold (show) Reminded me a lot of tentacle wars, but is still unique and awesome! I loved it, but it got kind of boring later on without a lot of variation, but still 5/5!!

Thanks for your feeback, i hope to bring more variation into the sequel.

Jan. 11, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) Good game. I thought most of it was too easy on hard mode... just making tons of connections real fast and attacking from multiple sides worked most of the time. Only one that gave me much trouble was 30 on hard... it's a good challenge. You really have to keep the side hubs under control. Also, the high score tab doesn't have a drop down to select hard mode.

+ - !

(1)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

You are one of the first stating that the game is too easy :). Its really hard to match all needs here. But I have learned that an easy mode is needed and that hard mode can be a bit more challenging. Thanks for the feedback!!

Under rating threshold (show) Are the other colors and me playing with the same rules? Just watched a single enemy CPU shrug off the attack of a hub being fed by a CPU(additional hub in the center) and a GPU and then counterattack up the chain, taking each one in turn. All were the same level.

+ - !

(-2)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

Yeah all play with the same rules. The AI does not cheat. It can just make and cut connection faster than a human. Thats it.

Eternal_Serenity

Jan. 11, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) Too hard of a game... needs an "easy" mode. The AI is horribly imbalanced.

Jan. 11, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game, except for the uneven distribution and power levels in the later levels. For example, in the last level, you have a level 3 RAM and so does the other guy. Yours regenerates at a crawlingly slow speed, while the other guy's zips along as it says it's supposed to. I don't mind a challenge, but don't mislabel things. That can take it from challenging to frustrating because it makes it hard to appropriately strategize and also leads to that irrational feeling that the AI is "cheating". Still a 4/5, the above is a hardly a game killer!!

+ - !

(0)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

The AI is quite dumb and can be tricked easy, if you know how it is reacting. That's why it has more power and stronger nodes. Obviously normal mode is too challenging, that is why I will introduce an easy mode in the sequel.

Under rating threshold (show) about frankm1's bug, I think it happened to me as well. On level 2 created a connection from my cpu to another one, but when it was time to upgrade it, I did and the tutorial message didn't change so I was stuck.

Under rating threshold (show) I noticed that if a node is connected to at least 2 nodes, and one of them is full, then the flow stops for both and not just for the full one. I don't know if it was meant to be like that, if not, I hope it helps.

Jan. 11, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) What Brad789 said - looked like a clone of other games at first, but I like the added touches. I can't tell, but it does seem like the nodes get confused and don't sent attacks when they should? 4/5 because it appears to need some polish still, but a great game. Thanks for putting it up!

Under rating threshold (show) cool game! Just encountered a frustrating problem on level 6. Even though my nodes were fully populated they would not attack on the drawn path. My FULL node just sat there getting attacked and doing nothing about it?

TheOldWoman

Jan. 11, 2012

Under rating threshold (show) I dislike the way you have to own all nodes to win, and the way when you capture something it starts off with 5 charge. If you own all productive nodes and the enemy has no charge in any of his, the game is as good as won, and the free 5 charge gives the advantage to the human player, who appears to be able to click faster than the AI. 4/5

+ - !

(2)

Developer response from RoughSeaGames

Thanks for the feedback. In one of the next versions I will change the winning behaviour. The 5 power add rule after winning a node, is a solution to fix permanent owner changes, when fighting over a node. I haven't found a better solution yet, but I am open to good ideas! :)
