I really didn't notice any difference between normal and hard - all of my strategies from normal worked on hard without need to adjust them. I wait to see how absurd will be different.

Amazing game, but it needs slower speed button and/or active pause. Because currently it looks like that fast clicking is more important than hard thinking -- it makes the game somewhat less fun for me.

Should be able to switch from normal mode to hard mode without loosing all your progress. otherwise great game. Stands out from the other games in this genre. 5/5

Actually you are right Mr. developer, it is actually more of a copy of tentacle wars. Still not going to give you points for that.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If everything goes smooth I will upload a new version tonight. It will include a easy and a absurd (very hard) mode. Absurd and Hard mode will be unlockable.
its far from a shameless copy. The original concept of nano wars is inspired by Galactic Empire (C64). Anyway my game was inspired mainly by Tentacle Wars and Mushroom Wars.

Then I guess its some sort of bug. I played the last battle a number of times. Its really weird I keep getting full control of the board and start saving energy to take out the Ram with 300. I have the orange enemy both CPU-3s and GPU-3s at 0. Now I start saving energy on both H chips in the middle while retaining control of the middle. All of a sudden my H chips get attacked by 1 attack and it goes from 100 blue to 5 orange.
ok I will check that, but I do not believe that it is a bug. You have to counter attack it, otherwise you will loose more power. The problem is that a RAM has a good defence but a weak attack. So countering helps to clear it faster.

AI does cheat. Playing lvl 30 on hard. AI took out a GPU with 40 with 1 attack and all three cells outer cells had 0 energy.

It's pretty amazing that the developer actually reads and responds to what appears to be almost every comment here. Why can't all game developers be like that?
weekend is coming, so I will have time to think about several issues. The biggest problem seems the difficulty level. I will add an easy mode to the game on the weekend, so ppl can get used to the game.
The AI is not cheating, its just connecting faster. You have to know that if you do not counter attack an attack with GPU and CPU you will loose more powers. With the RAM its better not to counter attack, because its a good defender.

I would love to see a total time spent score on the high scores list- that would really give us a motivation to continue to improve the times on each level (and give the game a little more replay value).

I enjoyed it but honestly the rampant built in ADS from Big Dino taking up the upper quad of the screen at the end of the level was just annoying. There are other similar games that are just as fun without the excessive ad push.
Branding are the only way to make money of those flash games. I am sorry to hear that you were nagged by this, but for a developer those things are necessary to get a little money back for all the effort. :)

It was a fun game before it was a frustrating game. The later levels are just so unbearably frantic that, even though I've been winning, I have no idea how.

kong, y u so stupid? i put yeah why? i've tried this every which way and i couldn't beat it (btw i'm on hard).... not m on hard)

Well, I give up...Lv 23 is just next to impossible to defeat. Green does nothing but try for one circuit, purple and orange attack me and orange attacks purple. waiting made no difference. upgrading, made no difference. Hard...it should be listed as IMPOSSIBLE
Sorry to hear that. Today I will rearrange the levels and put 23 to 30 an, its seems to be by far the hardest level in the games. Thx for letting me know.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
can't repeat lvl 23 2:54, but it involved taking the upgrade, being patient and rigging it so the others ran out of power
now stuck on 27. best try so far was taking orange's base
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
23 on hard is absolutely impossible. The game is AWSOME...but Orange just takes everything out. I have tried quick advance and also sit there and wait for them to kill each other. However, that never happens. Orange just takes over everything, every time.

I'm actually quite surprised at how low the rating is; the genre may be nothing groundbreakingly new but it's certainly not a bad one, and this one happens to be done exceptionally well. I'd have to say this deserves no less than a 4.05, it's quite a shame. That's not even counting the amount of feedback the developer's given; kudos to you, I say.
Wow, thank you. I think the rating is so low because of the difficulty of some levels. An easy mode is really necessary and some levels seem too hard. I am still learning what difficulty is ok for most of the ppl.

Excellent game, but I noticed a few bugs and issues:
1. Occasionally the green ring around a certain node would refuse to load, and would have a little thumbnail in (what would be) the top left corner of said green ring.
2. If you create two connections from one node, and one of the things that the node is connected to is full, the node won't send any charges to either node.
3. I'm not sure what the gray bars in nodes mean (the ones that turn colored while upgrading). They appear to be inconsistent because in H (non-production) they seem to indicate how full the node is, but in the rest they don't change.
Thanks for any fixes, you've got a gem here, it just needs a bit of polishing!

Love the game, the strategy, timing, and patience needed to accomplish the levels was awesome, and the idea was brilliant too.

I have to agree with a number of people, I cannot seem to find a way past level 23. Despite this, it is still a very good game, well thought out, simple yet challenging. Something I have noticed which annoys me, not sure if others have or not, is that it is difficult to determine whether a hub is at level 2 or 3 - the numbers on them look nearly the same (H-2 and H-3). Currently 4.5/5 (Round to 5/5), and favorite. Keep up the good work!

The thing with 23 is you have to remember ram is good at defense. If you sit back and do nothing the comp will wear itself down, then there will be a window where you can unleash your ram and quickly take over. I wonder if some hint system would help with those levels, rather than changing them.
I am planning to record videos for every level to help players to find a good tactic. If you guys want to help me there you are welcome and can post videos to the comment section. I would gladly use them. :)

-Impossible mode, I would Absolutely LOVE to try to do the impossible in this game and win against odds i shouldnt be able to, but only unlock this extra difficulty once you win the game, your "hard" mode is pretty good :D, and i dont want to scare off new players who want to try to do the impossible immediately and miss out on all the cool stuff later on by quitting early
Other than the Obvious, your extreme AI (and consider this for regular AI) could not leave RAM and CPU chips undefended, the amount of times i won because i suddenly jumped into a HUB and machine gunned a RAM chip which won me the game is off the scale, i thought "if only he left 3-5 defenders i couldnt do that...
having a HUB upgrade would be nice too, for the cost of 30-40 i would like to increase the power of HUB's attack, as sometimes i prefer the Hubs speed over the GPU's Slow moving Energy nukes of doom
Yeah impossible mode would be a nice idea, wrote it down to my list for the sequel. The hub is a little overpowerd at the moment, will need some rework for the sequel.

It takes a lot to actually make me comment on a game, Congrats, you have made me do so
Definately the best nano-war game i have played
- like Brad789 said in the top comments, one of the biggest issues is i almost quit after seeing it was just nano wars, one thing almost made me quit, before the game proved to be extremely strategic and fun :D
-sometimes the Tutorial was in the way, like, REALLY in the way, mostly it was the ones where i had to click the arrow to progress to the next chat block, i noticed space bar skipped those... after i had finished the game.. -_-. could u announce that space bar is a hotkey to progress?

Great game, i haven't played anything like this in a long time, my only complaints is that it lacks variety and I'm constantly curb stomped into a small mechanical paste on level 23, none the less 4.5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I was ready to give the game a 5 out of 5, but then found out that the AI actually have faster spawn rates then you, which disappointed me.

As long as people are making suggestions, I think there should be something saying "this tower produces X packets per second, attacks at Y/s, defends at Z/s" or something along those lines. At the moment you just have to keep playing and getting a feel for how towers work when something like that would allow people who haven't spent much time to still play with strategy rather than fumbling through it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
First and foremost, I am not a fan of the NanoWar type games, so when I saw one of the top comments compare it to nano war, I was not quite inspired to play this. However, it was quite good when i sat down and played it for a couple hours. It kept me entertained, and that's saying something, for a guy who was never impressed by this genre. 5/5!

Its worth noting that connecting in multiple paths to the same place really speeds up power flow. If you have a level 3 of something, its better to connect it more then once if possible, to maximize output
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Reminded me a lot of tentacle wars, but is still unique and awesome! I loved it, but it got kind of boring later on without a lot of variation, but still 5/5!!

Good game. I thought most of it was too easy on hard mode... just making tons of connections real fast and attacking from multiple sides worked most of the time. Only one that gave me much trouble was 30 on hard... it's a good challenge. You really have to keep the side hubs under control. Also, the high score tab doesn't have a drop down to select hard mode.
You are one of the first stating that the game is too easy :). Its really hard to match all needs here. But I have learned that an easy mode is needed and that hard mode can be a bit more challenging. Thanks for the feedback!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Are the other colors and me playing with the same rules? Just watched a single enemy CPU shrug off the attack of a hub being fed by a CPU(additional hub in the center) and a GPU and then counterattack up the chain, taking each one in turn. All were the same level.

I just added the kongregate API to the game. At the moment only number of beaten levels for normal and hard mode. Let me know if you have any ideas for more statistic, and lets hope that Kong will add some badges :))
