Erm... Of course ants have cash! they have antcash which they use for buying cake in black market and for other stuff as well... And as you can see, the guns you get to buy and upgrade are tiny. This is because you buy those guns from other ants. This brings us to the question: how can you buy stuff from ants. Answer is simple, because you are the leader of the another anthill! Your troops have just located a cake right next to some random noob anthill and you have to protect it until your anthill's best scientists will find out how to teleport the cake to your anthill. Also the turrets really aren't turrets, they are just guns with your troops inside trying to hit the enemy troops. Unfortunately, your troops aren't so good in aiming... bet you didn't know all that!

i dont see how the rating is only 3.8 . this is like the perfection of tower defense games, its very easy to learn and there are so many tower choices.

or place 3 cannons near the hill, upgrade the middle into triple (poison spray later), add more cannons and upgrade them to rockets, upgrade 2 cannons to freeze.

In future revisions I'd like to see a menu option (in game also) that shows the progression of the tower choices. I keep forgetting how to make a laser...

If you want to get past level 60 easily just place 3 cannons at the hole symetrically. Make the middle one triple I and the others impact I. Change the midle into spray. Add another 3 cannons and upgrade them to rocket launchers. Change the impacts into freeze towers. Add another rocket launchers, upgrade spray and freeze towers to level II. If building another cannon costs 1135 or more, just upgrade current towers to level II.
This setup works better in higher levels at the cake and I can always get over level 85.

Just pack the turrets as close as it allows then upgrade the 3 bullet upgrades, then do 1 poison turret... works every time

wow...one of the ants that got a piece of my cake was mentally retarded.It took a full minute for it to walk away from the plate :P

@Mushroomfighter, not a bad strategy at all... just made it to level 58 with having 2 poisoners by hole followed by 2 machine guns at the same angle behind them, then 2 long range on each side of the cake (fyi stats with an * will decrease if there is a unit of same type and level close enough, then adding several mulitshot around the cake because alot of times if the gun is pivoting the bullets will not catch up. im going to try to refine this approach by concentrating certain types around the cake, as the ants seems to change direction if they take enough damage from one direction. Surprisingly addictive game for being so simple :D
