Strange how the evolution is calculated... if you finish a level with 5 stars, you sometimes evolve less than when you finish it with 1 star... meaning I can finish all levels with 5 stars, but still be a "strong baby" ... wtf

This is a good game, but found an extremely (*20) annoying glitch. I was just about to win and then it said colony extinction!!! What's up with that? 4/5 stars since its not that common. Would've been 5/5.

No upgrades and tedious play... Not to mention the scores don't reward shrewd and quick play. If you want five stars on a level you have to get both kills and speed... Why isn't speed good enough? 2/5

Nice graphic, good gameplay. Don't see any program bugs. Well done!
Flaws:
1.After completing campaign, ask player to save. I started new campaign, did not save previous completed campaign, lost half campaign progress. (My fault assuming game autosaves for me.)
2.Starting new insect campaign not clear. I actually 'load' an empty save slot to do it. 'Start game' brings you to current level in campaign.
3.Same as BW1, speed is useless. Not sure what agility does.
Its tough balancing game (fixing fast bees may accidently make it overpowering). Perhaps losing level, game turns difficulty down at cost of star?
4.It will be nice if someone explains criteria for getting stars.

So many issues. The worst Cell Warfare game i've played.. 1) Restrictive "road" mechanic is so annoying, at least don't force me to relay attacks MANUALLY through several cells. 2) 8 levels in and NO new elements introduced. 3) No indication over when you "evolve". 4) The most insulting is that you get more stars if you spend LONGER on levels. That's dumb. Better performance means either faster or more efficient. The whole thing feels thrown together. 2/5

This game is nice, but it would be nice to have the option of having continues troops go to an area instead of having to keep dragging it over and over again. 4/5

ok how am i supposed to get any further when i cannot progress my race because i cant win any of the levels anymore? I'm stuck at 30% for my race, and cannot win any level, or get more stars. Guess starting over is the only option. Some explanation regarding stars and leveling would be nice.

The way I see it, there are two strategies, each with their merits. Option 1: You go berserk and fight no matter what. Choose strength evolution and always are pushing forward. Option 2: You capture towers to guard yourself, while you build up an army to battle through reinforcements later in the game. Option 1 is better for later levels, while option 2 prevails in the first 5 or 6. I prefer option 1, but sometimes you must bide your time. However, if the enemy attack immediately, you must do so also. 5/5

Previously on Bug 1 you can upgrade your critters which wasn't revolutionary or anything but that option was fun. now you can't even upgrade? Plus the criteria for rating has to be set out. Plus make it possible to replay tut

How does it being a step down make it slower paced then the first? Probably because of the music and better controls that actually work most of the time I find myself constantly having to give orders more often, sometimes to colonies on opposite sides of the map, it feels more hectic then the first at least.

I prefer the original Bug Wars. More customization, more upgrades to keep your interest. The star rating system used in this game is completely opaque to the player, which is incredibly annoying. Tell us what we did "wrong"!

level 6 is impossible, they have 5 towers sending troops instantly and i have to click and DRAG everytime i want to move HALF my troops. By the time i finished conquering 2 towers, the computer has ants moving from 4 towers at a time, attacking and reinforcing, the computer troops movents are way too streamlined and there is not even enough time to take a breath. -.-
