I've always liked these Epic War series. I'll give it a 5, but relly more like 4.2 or 4.5, there's a couple little things I'd like. First, need a fast forward button, increase play rate 2, 3, 4,6, 8 times. This would help with some of the slow parts. Also, not much a a CCG. I liked EW 2 and 3 where you had to pick your cards to take to battle and it felt like there was more strategy. Next, It would be nice if it mentioned build one of each building to get the catapult, and if there was a functional difference between each officer, like a special summon each got. An all charge/retreat that included the hero, and a clickable minimap for positioning units would be quite helpful. Could use a tower that increases mana generation, and the defense towers would be nice of they provided some offensive support some how (mana gen, unit levels). Finally my do my troops all say level 1 if they can't ever become level 2 or better?

This game is a little complicated...they should add "attack" button for the units to go forward and "retreat" button for the units to go back. It's way simple and easy...

Seems like a step back from Epic War 4 in terms of controlling the army. No buttons to control entire army, no auto-summon, no minimap to let you easily attack/retreat the other side of the level. Would be great if it just had EW4's controls.

Poor interface and control. Shamans are massively overpowered--I never had to use any other units from the second battle on. Poor upgrade system. I like this style of game, but it really needed more thought and effort.

Well, first thing I thought was "Why does Lu Bu look constipated?" Gameplay does seem extremely similar to Epic War. Actually, it is Epic War reskinned with a few things missing. If you're going to base a game on the fall of the Han Dynasty, I highly recommend putting in some historical notes for good measure and at least come up with an original design.

When I saw a dynasty warrior flash game I was ecstatic, when I played it I felt the need for another drink. It's way to easy to simply bide your time at the base while you build up your army. Or you can simply build up your mana and wipe out the base with spells.

I appreciate the attempt to make the next entry in the "War" series on Dynasty warriors, and am especially thankful that the idea of "Officers" Rather then more "Heroes". However, the interface seems a downgrade, and especially hurtful is the lack of true upgrades for the individual minions and the inability to control said minions directly. With these issues fixed this game could be more kongregate gold.

i found a glich when u max all ur units and officers and u fire arrows if u queep clicking it will give u free arrows and u can win without evn fighting

First thing: i dont know if its hard to make a game but since this game is based on Epic War i think it was easy to make. In Dynasty Warriors, Shamans never exist and i think the only units that would be here should be archer and/or crossbow, swordsman, pike man and spear. This game needs more work and i really wanted a good Dynasty Warriors games and this is not original, i dont mind to wait like 1-3years just for a original DW game. Why there are only 4 forces? Where are the Nanman, Yuan shao, Zhang Jiao and Dong Zhuo? I Based all that on DW4. By the way Zhou Tai is not Wei, hes from Wu. Sorry for my bad english.

I find that this game is a combination of the "Dynasty Warriors" and "Epic War" series. I wouldn't mind seeing this, but this has done a pretty shotty job. 3/5

During the Wei campaign, my general and soldiers just stop fighting for some reason and even after the enemy has killed everyone and destroyed my base it wont do anything, almost like there 1 of my soldiers hidden offscreen and it cant finish the stage until he's dead, very annoying!

Once i got improved arrow rain, and level 2 mana or w/e regen, i would win a game instantly. Just scroll over, use arrow rain like 5 times and then you destroy the base + commander unless he lives with a bit of health. Then it takes another 5 seconds.

If you are newbie, start playing this game with Shu. If you are have played before a win play with Wei or Wu. If you have been the pro of this game, play with Lu Bu!

To everyone complaining that this is a rip off of Epic War, and Dynasty War were made by the same person check his profile and games he made. He just screwed up with this game im sure there will be some tweaks to balance it out as there was in epic war. Or he might just make a completely new Dynasty War 2 which isn't as **** as the first one was.
