I wanted to like it, but it's such a huge step back from EW4 that I just couldn't really go too far beyond the first map, not being able to control your main units is a huge drawback especially when one of them is riding a really huge and slow elephant...

Rudo, Please dont continue these games, i would rather have epic war 5, with different monsters and titans and levels rather this.... it seems like you tried to make it different so everyone wouldnt get tired of the same games, but in reality i wont ever play this again.=[ when your next game comes out, for sure i will play it, hope its better

The starting mana is sufficient to destroy any enemy except Lu Bu with upgraded arrow storms. This makes the game go much faster, admittedly, but it's not particularly interesting.

I also forgot I found aglitch that if you use at least three generals and fill all of the unit spots then you use a support fire then you can use it without mana

It seems like you ripped off a ton of the setting from Dynasty warriors but overall you did great but I hope you don't over do it like you did with epic war, but it really could use hotkey .

This game gets so easy after getting inferno.
Once you get inferno (and upgrade for more damage), you can just snipe the enemy commander and win in seconds.

was disapointed with the one beat it on hardest difficulty in 30-40 min just grab all the generals you can load them up with soldiers and send em over as soon as you start a map i never had to build a single tower or building till the last level

This game is such a dissapointment coming from Rudy Sudarto. I loved Epic Wars. I spent hours beating them all(I wasn't very good)! You've lost many of the things that made Epic Wars so fun, ie: unit upgrades, easy unit control, good game mechanics and user interface, etc. I hope the next game is an improvement, and I'm looking forward to it.

HLBETA your game must of gliched the enemy has the same rules u do when they lose a general it is gone for the rest of the battle and they have mana so buildings cannot be rebuilt forever

This is easily the worst game I have seen on the front page in a long time. Not only does it take several leaps back from the relatively smooth interface of the previous games, but it's also either trivially easy or absolutely impossible depending on your choice of nation. Better yet, the AI obviously follows a totally different ruleset than the player, and is not hampered in the least by the loss of its castle or outbuildings. Better yet, it appears that AI troops are superior to my own by a ratio of about 5:1 when dealing with supposedly identical unit types. This shouldn't have ever left beta, much less reached the site's front page.

Is it just me, or do you just have to:
gain a big army with 3 generals.
gain a lot of mana.
Waste your mana shooting arrows.
Charge in.
Win.

hey guys i found a glitch, press the arrow strike, right click on the field, left click, click on the flag icon of base thing, click arrows, ta da unlimited arrows and mana

Infinite inferno is best strategy,it's can end every battle with only 4-5 clicks,why we need units? it's need more difficult to choose and skills have to add cd time.

i finished it in 1 day on lubu all you have to do is as soon as you start the battle scroll over to the enemys castle and just keep shooting your arrows (you have to have upgraded arrows and mana to kill the elephant dude) hope this helped

hmm, i think that wei and cao cao should be easy, i mean the man had oh so many more talented officers and he was a genius on par with zhou yu and pang tong, not to mention he had the entire sima family as well.

waaaaay to easy just have 4 generals and max out swordsman on them all and attack with everything use inferno on enemy troops and u cant lose

Step three: walk to enemy general
Step four: use demon rage

rain of arrows is broken. With rain of arrows lvl 2 & mana lvl 2, just use all your mana on rain of arrows attacking their base/hero and you win before they build any troops. Kinda makes the game boring after that point.

i would like to say that this game is very well done in the gameplay market but, the balance of the units is off a little and the generals attacks .... once they attack they dont stop moveing that meens for my characters whos attacks make them run forward they just run forword a bit kill everything in its path basicly but then there just happens to be another unit sitting there right at the end of his attack so he attacks again and after a repeat of that whole thing again he ends up in there base getting killed super fast.

you should be able to beat the campaign more then once and have it record on the highscores, cause i beat it twice just to come in first place

just gotta say that one of the best units is the shaman because in numbers they are almost unbeatable sense they knokback all the other units rate + so people can know :D
