also, a starting build for you is yaksa, chimera and toyul (or whatever his name is) - yaksa is your main (and really your only guy), since he is tough enough to withstand a lot of damage and has decent damage moves early on. The toyul is mostly just there for the extra ap point,and you only really 'need' to switch to chimera if the enemy is strong to physical and energy. Yaksa lasted me until the...extra stages? I dont know what they're called in this game, but he was pretty strong.

also, the rule of thumb seems to be either: always use guard and not end turn, or get ap boosting items (white wing gives 6ap or the 12ap item i forgot the name of)

How dare someone downvote my comment TT-TT. The game is addictive though, since it hits that level of difficulty that you come back to it sometimes if you really have nothing to do, and i just like fighting with monsters so i may or may not be biased.

A low level monster without equipments can kill the final boss with around 1200 combo(it only shows 999). The damage PER HIT goes up as the combo goes up. So even starting from 1 dmg for the first few hundred hits, you can still do it~!

The +6AP item is how you beat everything up to the last 2 bosses.
The +12AP or Null damage for one round items are how you beat the last 2 bosses.

This game is kinda crappy. Just die over and over until you memorize what kind of power you need to gain for every fight. Make a mistake? Well, start over from scratch again.

ya know the game is pretty easy if you grind but also i would reccomend using yaksa as one of your starters he has been one of the ones i used from the start of the game to the end.

If you're thinking the game is too easy because you've started out with the chimera or whatever, forget about it - the boost attack falls off massively mid to late game. You'll end up having to play with serious strategy soon enough. Near the very end stages the monsters are op enough to just end two-thirds of your team in one turn, including your tank. You can get diamonds from the desert boss and the second stage of the fire area can give you dragon hearts. If you're having trouble with the end stages, remember, you can just buy your way to victory. Buy a dozen or so null orbs and some ap boosting items. You acn use an item with 0 ap cost if you use it after spending all your ap, while the animation for your last attack is paying. This means you can have your dmg dealer out, use every attack and null up at 0 ap, and repeat.

I finally figured out why taking actions 1 at a time is more damage than entering all the commands in a rush: the bonus damage for the combo count has a delay before it is applied so stacking it all up makes it miss a LOT of the combo bonus rather than focusing it on the higher damage hits at the end of most attacks like you would think.

Played for a little while until i found out that it's too hard to NOT be a troll game. But apparently you people in the comments are talking about it normally, as if it's an actual, you know, GAME. What's up with that? I can't be the only one.

for your starting monsters, chose chimera, and yaksa. beat first level, go to the store and buy broken pipex2 and equip on chimera, you will plow through the first monsters in a single hit. for the first boss, make sure to have yaksa in first position, and defend with him till you have 12 ap, then swap to chimera, use focus 1x, then use power hit x4 in rapid succession (the focus buff will stay up if you rapidly use the power hit without letting the chain fall off, just be sure to only do it 4x so you have 2 ap left to swap back to yaksa and guard)

Long ago I played the game and I found it bad . I tried it again some years later and still found it bad .But one week ago I decided to give it a last chance and I found that it was a true gem. At first you don't understand what you are doing but later on it you understand it and start to enjoy it . The concept is awesome , so is the music ( I love it , is there a download link to it ?) . That black fume stuff make the creatures look so so good especially Yaksa and the woman with serpent heads and that white ghost . THe difficulty and the easiness is also present . I love challenge so , I love it. It still have flaws too such as the one death = game-over , making the game a bummer if you forgot to save before the match . I hope for EQ2 even if I don't think there will be one.

This is awesome game. I love turn-based/RPG/Strategy Games. Squads, tactics, attacks, resistances, items require thinking like Pokemon fire-red :), but his game has great dark-epic climate.

I guess the final boss would require the best equipment, and MAX items (The one that gives 12 AP, and the one for Null Damage) As well as high level characters. Ofcourse, this might be WAY over kill.. I only ever fought them once.. Gonna collect stuff before trying again. :I

I hate the fact that enemys can use the heal ability without paying it´s cost (they don´t lose 1 ap when they use it).
