Aaaaaaaaaah just finish it!
Here's my method to beat the End:
Well, despite many advices, Orcs remind for me the best choice to beat The End, just because of .... THE CERBERUS! This Titan is, well, what it is: a Titan! it stops The End for a very long time, have a huge physical shield and is almost insensitive to magic. So, when you have maxed everything (no need of archery), you keep sending hobbits and Totems, , but always stay close to 9999 mana, and when the enemies send to too much troop to be contained, man, RELEASED THE CERBERUS lol, then continue with hobbits, Totem, and Beast Riders, slowly filling your mana to unleash the next Cerberus as soon as possible. By doing so, when The End comes, you'll have A LOT of totem to weakened him. Of course, use all your spell as often as you can on him!
I didn't have the Angel Soldier to beat him and it works at first try, my castle have no damage at the end :)

So I have now beaten the last boss with all 3 races (didn't need to but i wanted to).
The hardest one by far is humans, while orcs and elves are pretty much equal against him.
It is also a lot easier with the Angel, unlocked after completing all 3 skill trees.
When the Lord of Hell appears, simply send dragons, angels (if you have them) and your Titan (but not with the human race) and nothing else, they'll beat him by themselves, even though the fight will often be pretty long (especially with the humans without angels, dragons take a long time to kill him by themselves.)
For the human problem, the boss attacks the Titan (arch angel) for some reason. Normally he only does that attack against non-flying enemies, but he doesn't attack Cerberus (the orcs' titan) which is obviously on the ground. (And i think the arch angel is flying, it's an angel after all.)
So i wonder if the developers did a mistake on that or were just thinking "screw humans, they won't have it easy".

blueskydiver7783,I agree with you, because it is saying it would be better to go with orcs and elves, but it is better to play the cap. 12 several times and get the Arch Angel, defeat the enemy castle easily with paladins.

I agree with Koakuma. There are 3 stages of the final level. Stage 1: expect lots of heavy units. Use your normal approach. Stage 2: the final boss appears. Lots of heavy units, plus any of your units that are within melee range of the final boss will trigger his stomp attack - which will hurt your base. Only use red dragons as melee units at this point since they won't trigger his stomp attack. Stage 3: no more heavy enemy units, just a steady stream of weaker units. Make sure you don't have a group of mages firing on the boss or he will be healed by their magic. You should be building red dragons as often as possible, and you can also build a barrage of siege units (catapult, trebuchet, cannon) since they will stay outside of the boss' melee range and he is also weak to melee damage. Which I think they are. Either way, their attacks hurt him! Good luck

its really easy to get free research points by doing level 6 over and over again just summoning hobbits. its the last level where they don't retaliate in big swarms

I tried chapter 18 with mankind and failed maybe... 10 times?
Sometimes for attacking with magic and range (healing the boss) one time for not realizing he was attacking my castle, other times not even reaching the boss.
I heard it was easier with elves because if you just send the titan and dragons, the lord of hell won't make his stomp attack, while with humans, he does.
(i haven't unlocked the angel soldiers yet, 'cause i didn't play with the orcs or elves yet)
But i am stubborn.
I wanted to defeat him with mankind.
So i found out the boss was doing his stomp attack when you send arch angels (mankind's titan) but not with red dragons.
So when the boss appeared, i let him kill all my other units (i never sent wizards or range units or else he wouldn't be able to kill them) and sent only dragons.
And I won.
Hurray!

Did they fix the text? My old file wouldn't load, but when I did a new game, the text was fixed. Maybe it was just incompatible with an update. Thanks Dev! I really loved this game!

I'm not the original poster of this tip, I'm just stating it again so that others can be helped like I was. How to get 6,000 XP in around 3 minutes! Step 1) Choose level 6 (the first level you encounter orcs) 2) Set your tower to auto fire as far as it can (0 to autofire. 3) When your arrows start hitting the first orcs (around 170 mana) spam 1 (hobbits/View Instructions And Credits.) Make sure you use the tower to kill most the group. Extra)When your hobbits start attacking the orc castle there should be enough so that you notice the orcs cannot attack as they are being hit too much. If this doesn't work and the second group kills your hobbits, keep spamming and it should work. Personally this works for me every time :).
