An auto save would be great. Most games are saved automatically so most people don't think to click on save. I have seen in a few of the comments how they lost all their data, I too have lost almost a fully upgraded race. C,est la vie, don't forget to save!!!

while crushing the enemy castle in lvl 16 while i didnt even unlock the titan ... at hp 1000 of enemy castle a black dragon , 2 red dragons , MASSIVE army of paladins , beast riders , protectors all have spawned ... suddenly , enemy castle destroyed and also Overlord guah-hajj arrived ... how the hell should i fight all these without any big unit or a titan?

in every hard level when enemy castle health is below 2000 enemy spawns a huge army but lvl 15 that was MASSIVE once when enemy castle's health is below 2000 ... suddenly , 9 flame devils , 6 red dragons , 2 angels , a black dragon , HUGE army of beast riders , totems , over 50 cannons , many small units (goblins , fighters, archers , ogres) (enemy units were more than 300 maybe) been spawned from the enemy and the EPIC music of fighting last 3 matches in game is playing ... OMG i lost in less than 5 mins while my big army of paladins and wizards are dead in less than half a min ... does enemy have 9038901823 mana? .. but it was nice , enemy revenge

@samuelsweet this game is too old i know that but did you know it is many people's favorite game and it is better than much new games
... love the music and the game play and surely the army of wizards 5/5

Thank you so much times a million devs!!! Although us loyal fans waited so long for you guys to fix the bugs while suffering from withdraw symptoms. If you guys made this Epic War 2 downloadable through the google playstore, then I would even pay to download it for my android and/or laptop which is how much I love this game. Although I enjoyed playing the other parts, I always found myself coming back to part 2.
It has great replay value and I agree with the other players that the next part should be made like this one which is a true epic classic which I will also tell all my friends about also. I'm not even sure if the devs even care or read these comments anymore but it's worth a try. Btw a fast foward button would be awesome too. Thanks again!

That was just an EASY LOL!! I beat the first level using only suicide bombers, mana boosts, and arrow tower boosts. 1260 experience....

Strategy: lv 16: Spam hobbits and send angels and/or forest guardians/Archangels/Cerberus - Lv 17: Same strategy but with forest guardians - lv 18: Forest guardians, don't use anything that magic attacks.

It really seems unfair that your enemies mana is charging so fast that he can send several dragons at you,you break down his castle despite it and then he sends a massive enemy which is nearly impossile to kill plus many other enemies and then when you get close to beating it he breaks down your castle and you are dead.

guys in the first lvl of the orcs make ur mana bar full and send only hobbits keep sending hobbits and hobbits only, u will surely win the lvl

Very fun game to play through, I rated 5 *'s. But I don't understand the final Hard badge, finish mission 18 is PART of the first Hard badge. So I just earned both at the same time when I beat the last mission, would prefer to see a score challenge or beat final mission with all races.

Honestly, the whole "let's make it so when the AI is losing they get to summon the army from the Black Cauldron instantaneously and effectively guarantee victory if you don't swamp them hard enough to kill them before it takes the field" mechanic is getting really old. I still like the overall gameplay, but that is just a cheap way to add "difficulty."

Can't get past the Orcs with all of the upgrades.
I hate games like this-fun as heck to play, but get too damn hard too quickly to enjoy for long.

To tell the truth, this is a great game. Unfortunately, I just won't give it more than three stars because of the terrible story writing, and the gameplay is too slow. I can't play for more than half an hour because it is too slow. On top of that, the sensitivity is WAY too high, just tapping my arrow key makes the crossbow move up really high. It's too hard to aim accurately. It's sad because this game could have been my favorite on Kongregate. The story itself is amazing. However, because of these inconsistencies, it gets a three from me.

@durstos: for mission 18 use elves and spawn ONLY titans, red dragons, and cannons. the lord of hell strikes the ground when your ground unit is near it, that also causes damage to your castle. arrows and magic attacks heals the lord of hell so dont use archers and mages.
for mission 17 I used elves, spawned a few phantom archers and mostly mages and titans, use hobbits as damage receivers/shields.

The game itself is great and has fun mechanics. The story line is full of minor inconsistencies, bad editing, and very awkward writing, which is unfortunate because it is such a big part of the game.
