even though it's true that all heroes hve different mana, the reason they put viegraf first was because you unlock better units with him. the blue hero is probably the most balanced

protip: Finished the final level? Just press continue and go again. Do this until you have everything upgraded, since you can do it as many times as you want by pressing continue. You get over 500k gold every time.

Tedious; the one winning strategy is stunningly obvious, and each level is just like the previous -- build up, attack, fall back a little, then attack a second time to finish them off. The AI's ability to summon the max of their cards at once, it feels like such a cheesy handicap, and it is not something I can learn from.

It cost you pretty long run to either get Mermaids Centaurs and Succubus, but get them all and with goblin youll be Just fine

Man, I love 3 that I feel like replaying it again and again.
Tips for starters , use the following heroes from order ,: Viegraff is the best to start with , yellow general , blue general , light blue general , green general , orange general .
Best ranged unit : Thunder witch or centaur archer for both accuracy and damage .
Best close unit : Black knight.

There is no way to save your progress from the final battle. The "to main menu" button is the only option after you beat it and when I go to the menu and press continue its always saved right before the battle. It says you get a lot of gold from these battles but it never gives you the chance to spend it. Its really annoying.

Reload the game, it should be before the final battle but you should have all the gold. Spend it on upgrades for your stuff , -> click SAVE <- and then click new game plus. All the upgrades should be there. You can then save again :)

Is there an "all units except the Hero" forward/advance button? I spend most of the game tapping X and clicking my Hero back.

3) use the phoenix spell card

You sir or madam. Yes, you! ever tired of having to cut through endless amount of units to finally reach the other side only to see a full-healthed leader in the way of the castle and easily dispatches several of your soldiers or maybe even you all while still having enemies flood towards you? If this is you, I have a solution! Get any time of long ranged attack spell ( I normally prefer the comet since it is a starting spell normally) and cast it over the enemy leader. The damage will activate this unit charging past the enemies to attack you. Now simply hang back and attack him before your leader is actually attacked by any other tough minion. I think to beat any cave, the two cards that are absolutely essential is the Dragon Rider and the Phoenix Strike. Phoenix Strike is easily the best spell card and can get you out of trouble quick. Dragons are always a pain to fight against, so it's good to have some on your side.

epic 3-5 are my favorites cuz, THEY ARE NOT MULTIPLAYER, and also do not solely rely on a giant, long range, catapult
