i wish people would stop complaining about the revenge wave, you have a slew of spells, plus your units heal if they are idle, besides all you have to do is range unit spam and revenge waves can't do squat to you. The game is already fair and would become horribly unbalanced and unfun if revenge wave was either given to the player, or taken out completely. Now watch as this comment gets hit with so many negative reviews because of people that can't stand something that actually makes the game work.

Protip: For a quick completed campaign use the Green army (Grimtooth) and at the start of each battle use your fireball to cause the enemy champion to charge you. This lures him into a quick death. Now you can finish the battle quickly without the interference of an enemy champion

i always play with gullborg the grimtooth last, so at cave of trial 5 i have a good selection of men (and a lot of exp)

tip: once you have unlocked succubi/witch/mermaid upgrade it to max as soon as possible.these beat back revenge waves very effectivly!also you want max lvl dragon rider/knight/yeti cos they are very powrful melee troops.also yeti have very high health.+ to keep this comment alive.

Easy way to beat cave 5 lol use goblins,succubi, dwarves,mermaids,centaurs,and minotaurs as your creatures and use heal,comet,freeze trap,athena hercules,and arrow rain. use the spells as you see fit but keep your hero on the frontlines killing the goblin swarms while your army can gather up (dont use comet/hero anywhere near the enemy base it will make the invincible 1 hit kill goblin run at your base and he is pretty much unstoppable) when your army has as many units as possible then charge (keep hero away from base until the troops are close enough to help you repel the uber goblin) when your almost close enough to make the uber goblin attack use athena so you can have enough time to repel the goblin and kill the hero with ease. Have fun with this and btw if everything is maxed out (mermaids and centaurs maxed is a must!) it just makes it all easier have fun^-^.

U don't actually need to complete the second campaign to get all the cards, get up to a level between 20-30(Don't know when u get last spell card), then new game plus, and u will have the cards!! Vote this comment so anybody can see this.

Defeating the cave of trial 5: I used phantom armor, fire succubus, mermaid, centaur archer, dragon rider and black knight. For spells, I had comet shoot, rain of arrows, athena protection, healing wave, freeze trap and hercules strength. You must have freeze trap and athena protection or the invisible goblin will tear you apart. You can switch rain of arrows out for lightning bolt. BUT, do not use phoenix strike as it throws the invisible goblin in the air towards your castle. Overall the strategy is to get your hero out and attack the fodder. When all your units are at max production send them out and use the the freeze trap on the invisible goblin. Then use all the other spells. If all your units are killed by the goblin then just keep trying you will get it eventually :). Plus this or copy to keep alive!

in the fifth cave of trials, the boss is a super goblin that will instantly kill anything and that can't be hurt. to beat it, use ranged troops like centaur, mermaid, witch, and succubus with black knights/dragon riders/frost giants to keep the super goblin flinching and to make sure it doesn't come close enough to kill your troops while you destroy their base

Good Strategy to trick the AI: Use your long ranged special attack card on the enemy hero right away, while keeping all of your troops back. That will make the enemy hero mad, and he'll charge. Send in all troops but your hero, and then by the time the bad hero gets to your hero, he'll be easy to defeat. Then, send all troops in to take out the castle. Hit (+) so everyone can make quick work of the AI!

Cave 5 isn't hard at all. With Athena's spell it's fairly easy, if you want a challenge do it without it. Even without Athena's it isn't hard. This worked for me: goblins, phantom warriors, mermaids, dwarf engineers, centaurs and succubus. I used heal, meteor, phoenix, arrow rain, meteor swarm and hercule's strenght as skills. All lvl 5 of course. That's 2740 mana I used.

The strategy for beginners, choose any hero. Don't forget to equip all cards to your unit/skill cards area. After that, go into battle (obviously). At the start, spam 'Retreat' (so your minions don't walk out) while waiting for all your minions to spawn. When enemy minions arrive let your hero kill them, but don't let him go out too far. When all of your minions have spawned, click 'Forward' and watch how hard the opponent gets demolished. After battle, upgrade your cards however you feel will improve your army well, and do the same thing over and over.

To the cave of trial 5, the concept is to push the black goblin without it can attack. For this, we must take three units magical, archers, the goblins (because they arrive in quantity) and finally dwarfs that push well.
The second possibility is to use the power of invincibility, but it does not last long enough, then combine with the first board.

A good strategy for anyone new to this game is this: Choose GrullBorg (Green hero that has the highest MP) , and at every match, use a fireball at the enemy's hero. Killing off that hero will make the rest of the mission a breeze, as all enemies spawn behind the castle. Later in the game, the hero will become more of a minor enemy as the armies grow larger. Good luck to the 5 people that see this.

Oh, and another thing: ALWAYS START WITH VIEGRAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot stress this enough. Once you beat the game with him, do New Game Continue and beat it with another hero.

tip while battling: when the battle starts make sure to hold your troops back until your fireball is ready to use. aim the fireball and hit the enemy's hero which will send him forward to attack. while he is running onward unleash the hell you have been creating. you will easily be able to kill their hero and after that they are pretty much helpless. please + if this strategy works for you!!!! =)

Guide to beat Trial 5 with only 2500 mana:
You need These:
Comet
Phoenix
Athena
Frost Giant
Succabus
Mermaid
Witch
Centaur
Black Knight

1) Wait until you have 1 succabus then send your troops (not hero) to fight.
2) let an army grow at your base until those first units die then send everyone (including hero) to their base.
3) repeat step 2 until they lose.
Extra tips:
make sure you have your phoenix ready when they have 0 enemies because you will want the pheonix in a few seconds when there are over 100 enemies. Also make sure Athena is ready when your troops make a counter attack.

@LordYinepu The computer doesnt "have the ability to summon suddenly A FREAKING MOB", it wll do so, automatically, at 3/4, 1/2, and 1/4 castle health. If you cant be a decent strategist and prepare for the revenge wave, then find a new game.
