i think the hero should be like a giant becouse it doesnt do so much damage and dont got health so its not a that much of a hero

gonna have to rate this as a 2 out of 5. mainly for the control options of your units. while individual control is nice, it becomes cumbersome over time. using the group controls is ok but when your hero is the first unit at the enemy and thus the main one taking damage. the ability to lock a unit in place while ignoring the group control would be nice.

Trial 4, if you are using the Undead Knight (haven't tried with other heroes) you can beat the Beast with a little micro-ing. The Beast doesn't do that much damage to you if you are right up against him, so first send out some heavy hitters (White Tiger, Black Dragon work really well - high damage and health, and also reinforce quickly) to whittle away some HP, then then the Beast gets to your Hero, have him charge so that he's always up against the Beast. This will also push the Beast back and allow some of your other units to damage him. Just make sure to use the Undead Knight's self healing when he gets almost half HP.

Could someone tell me exactly what is suposed to do the giga heal spell, i see no change in my unit´s heal bar, do they need to have the phoenix badge as accesory to make the giga heal spell work?

Yeah i think that biegraf needs a better starting skill and combo like strike in the same place twice and third slashes far instead of rush in like a crazy person.

as an indonesian myself, these are my takes on this Epic War version: Needs an upgrade that does not only gives the unit skills, but levels in general. By putting a leveling system on each unit, more grinding is required, and the possibilities are endless. Then, try to have each hero to have their own specialized unit: say, Skull Knight gives Death the ability to have an extended reach/critical strike, and Queen gives elves additional arrow or imbued arrows. Last, try to have the hero to actually be useful during the last part of the games, but not imbalanced. Try making them either a tank, a sniper, or a commander who casts spells (mages/healers). Try different ways to configure your units. That way, each character, each hero, and each unit can be different: a machine-gun archer, an archer that has low quantity of units but have arrows that can pierce through enemies, or an archer that uses skills (arrow volley/shower continuously).

it really pisses me off when i've spent 10 minutes on a fight and i press >> and my idiot rushes in and gets killed...

I prefer the Skull Knight hero because he fits my style of fighting, my next fav would be the Queen because she has good starting units but Viegraf is not so good, he nearly died twice on the first mission if not for his First Aid skill.

Is there a bug where you don't get the Iron Fortress after beating the Goblin Rangers in Trial 2? I beat the trial twice, but I don't get the achievement to get the Iron Fortress :(

Hm. I feel as if you've rushed this one too much. It took a long time for Epic War 4 to come out after 3 then it took a short time from 4 to 5. You should have spent time on making it like the previous games and in a better form and thought out different units and more units and heroes. Although it's still pretty fun, I kinda prefer number 3 over 4 and 5. If you're coming out with a 6th, I'd like you to take your time and look over things. Thanks for the great games.

after the first two games the quality really declined. I think that instead of having 9 improvements or only 1 improvement path for each unit (as with all games till now) you could make it so you can buy individual improvements for each unit type. that way you can improve the pop limit and spawn time of the goblins to make more cannon fodder without paying for improved damage on a unit that will die in one hit. or you can improve the resistance to magic damage so the enemy succubus doesn't rip you to shreds.

@darkbloodwolf, I haven't beaten the game, and i don't think i will because it's very hard. The extra stages are supposed to be very challenging to where you need a good strategy to beat them. Just because you can't beat the hardest levels on a game doesn't mean the game sucks, it means you don't have the brain to figure out how to beat it. If the game could be beaten by just sending out all your best units and spamming spells then it would suck for the people that actually like strategy. In short, if you can't beat a game, then fine. Don't give the game a bad rating just because you can't think of a way to beat it. The extra stages are meant for the best of the best, so not beating them is no big deal.

This is a very good game! Disregard the commentators that say that the Epic War series has gone off track, they are wrong. A couple of suggestions on further improvements: (1) The hero needs more health, I want to be able to use them, but I simply can't; (2) The towers that can be created are way underpowered, they are virtually useless; (3) I'd like to see access to a "mini king of hell" from the father and sons level; (4) I'd also like to see access to the "Multi-colored goblins"; (5) Lamia needs to be beefed up, she is a bit underpowered, I was thinking maybe just have 4 of them come out or give her more health; (6) I'd also like to see access to the stronger Red goblins......Just some thoughts....Please, please keep making these games, they are some of the best out there.
