Yeah, its obnoxiously long, but a black dragon + omega seal + regen spell can 1 v 1 any of the red staged bosses. It may take 15 - 20 mins, but he can do it. Move archers/ mages outside of any blast zones to help when possible, if you have another tank, employ them at your leisure, anything to add damage per minute helps. Go ahead and throw some infantry at the Wandering Swordwoman...

I am enjoying the game overall, but will echo what others have said about the strength of the hero. Basically the only reason I ever lose is if I forget to assign the hero to the back.

well good game but need to improve epic units and the hero.For the starting fights it works for hero but as the game goes on the hero becomes liability.The experience is also a problem as 1000+ exp gets wasted and we can`t do anything just looking it.These are a probs that need to look on but overall the game is nice.

@popperman99, the challenge in is this game is the last 5 levels. I at the moment of writing this only able to beat trial 3: Father and sons reunion. However a you said, NEVER use your hero for these levels, he/she WILL get 1 hit and you will lose. I thinking about swarming but that doesn't work with the trials. Having tank units will get smashed. So these level require ALOT more thinking and planning.

@richterpahllos: Are you using the left and right arrow keys to scroll the screen? I thought I was having the same problem until I realized that I needed to do that.

I can't get it to play proper. My hero and his army just walk off, stage right, and nothing progresses. Looks like a fun game. Anyone know what I might be able to do to make it play right?

I really liked the EW series up until this point. the graphics were always intriguing, the gameplay was fun, and level grinding was a small part of it.
All of these things have changed, and I for one am sad.
3/5, could be better.

Use the healing hero, and never let it go into battle after stage 4. Just spam the freezing spell and healing tower. When facing the boss use the attack and defence booster skills.
My setup: Vampire warrior, Centaur, Archer, Paladin, Amazon and Minotaur

horrible. this is like someone made a game that could have been good and then just said "yeah i know there are things i could improve but screw it, let everyone who plays it suffer"

How the hell are you supposed to kill that inferno boss? Whatever my heroes goes he follows him/her. There is no possible way to dodge his attacks, 2 times and bye bye hero. Screw this.

Sometimes it would be nice to play a game with multiple lead female characters, whose powers aren't healing. Or a game where the female characters wear practical battle armor and not skimpy bikinis.
