The game isnt bad but I wouldnt exactly call it good either,Maybe its about the nostalgia? I remember it being alot better.

One spell in the game is to powerfull, the RESURRECTION spell that you get if you pick normal mode. It makes you able not only to get your fallen units back up, but the ENEMYS units as well, going pass your unit cap. OP

Pro tip: if u wanna beat the final mission on hard mode simply beat the Secondary mission of the demon simply get the demon along with his word and shield then go to mission 12 spam those demons put rage and speed on them and just keep spamming onto you beat him + if u find this comment helpful

the easiest way to win hard mode is to find weapon that can stop or freeze enemy (freeze still the best one for me)..ex : archer with stop weapon - enemy cant attack them except for the ranged enemies..cavalry with freeze (i use this) - enemy will be frozen forever.. XD (including boss) + if u agree :P

the name of mission is "Oh snap!!, it's GREG!..yeah that one took me 10 minutes.. (continue doing side missions to collect money and found that mission)
final boss (GREG) :
- insane damage -one hit kill my 1k health troops
- idk almost unlimited health -_- yeah it took 10+ minutes for my troops doing (300*8) damage with speed 3.1
- not to mention i use increase speed spell and rage to increase damage

HAHAHHAHAHA..too ez ( if u play the right spells, class and stats to focus on )
tips : freeze applied to boss too XD
there's a mission where there are so many bosses to fight..until eventually the grand boss which does massive damage ( 1 hit instant kill at my 1k health troop..? ) but i manage to freeze him and that's all just wait for couples of minutes until it dies XD..btw im typing this while waiting the boss die XDDDD great game :)

And there we go. Hard badge down.
Step 1. Start the mission by charging up your mana. Don't train any troops until you see an enemy closing in on you.
Step 2. Spam a squad of archers or anything ranged. Speed and numbers is what you're aiming for.
Step 2B. Occasionally throw in a tanky class like a swordsman or a fighter. These will act as good damage sponges as your horde of ranged fighters widdle down the enemies' forces.
Step 3. Follow your unites as they charge forward and replace any units when they fall. Spam the poison spell like crazy if they hit a difficult road block.
Repeat these steps and you'll have the hard badge in about an hour.

Not a hard game, but kinda annoying. Stupid story boards, obnoxious character sounds, tldr help (yes, I read them, but should I have?), over complicated, the works. Easy badge is a quick knockout, but doesn't push me to play any more. Bright side, if the New Game + mechanic works, not having to finish a full game first is a real godsend. Also, thanks for the shortcut keys. Using mouse for everything would drive me mad.

You can breeze your way on hard mode by grinding coins on secondary missions to get mana regeneration, then good enough ranged allies, then eventually getting the tornado and shrink ability can allow you to easily curb stomp any enemy on the secondary missions by using these two to earn loads of money. You can use haste and attack boost to if you'd like.

i sent 5 tuxedos with mythical swords and made two into giants, they were swiftly killed with a 1130something attack...

I follow the Zap Brannigan school of warfare, I send wave after wave of expendable troops until the enemy reaches their kill limit and shuts down

I almost feel offended at how much time I spent on easy mode, before giving up and whizzing through hard mode effortlessly. It's a fun game but there's no real challenge on hard once you've maxed your mana, poison and tornado, and realised that the ultimate strategy to beat everything is just spawning 8 Mikes and replacing them with more Mikes if they die.

Pure entertainment and fun! I enjoyed it. But still as game many features could be upgraded. I agree that the easiest was the "hard" mode, but only if you prepared your army carefully in "easy" mode. The characters are not enough characterized, I mean like the Hippie, rather useless because of his stats but unbeateble with the Fire element. My final army had only two characters: a physical and a ranged/magical. Why can you collect and pile weapons and characters? It had been nice if getting 10 or 20 of each could upgrade the weapon or character for a real "HARD" mode.
And at the end... where are those Myth Balls? and where's the Soup made with them? I expected some final story related on them.

Nice short game. I liked the use of different classes and characters, however I wish it was longer and had more upgrades and different spells.

Shoot, just notice that ''Lightning Blast'' is misspelled as ''Lighting''.
Sigh, I wish you could play as the other heroes.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE MEDIUM BADGE: "unlocking" a character requires both beating that character in a fight AND purchasing the character in the store. Because this wasn't clear I finished the game on hard then half-finished it again on medium before figuring this out. Also: TO BEAT HARD MODE IN YOUR SLEEP: Max the poison skill and do the secondary quests Trickster Show and Eastern Warrior. Don't even use soldiers, just kill the boss with poison. You can complete the Trickster Show in literally 3 seconds. It's like printing free money. Upvote for visibility.

hard mode dude is easy to win with just do strong melee units buffed with haste (more attack and move speed) and rage (more damge), poison the boss then mini size him. keep haste and rage up, then poison him when he big and minisize him after he gets poison effect and i beat greg level with this strategy (elephants with hell breaker as my unit) in under 2 minutes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
btw quick strat for mission 12 is have a strong melee unit, put hell breaker on it (from demon overlord level or achievement) and put buffs on them

if you are fast enough at clicking units/pressing q,e,r, or t (unit buttons corresponding to their place in the bar) then you can get more units than the supposed limit (i think max you can get is 10). You can get 9 pretty easily, but i dont like doing that because it makes the game easier.

Glitch, if you have 7/8 in your army and a lot of mana you can spam a lot of units and have like 20/8 in the army. Level 4 is almost impossible while level 5 is totally easy. Game is really laggy and unbalanced, side missions are repetitive and like you can't give me 1 star side missions only if I just beat 3 stars ones. Hard mode is incredibly easy you can just spam the special ability and go with only warriors. Same visual glitches when you move the camera as Epic War. Bad game

Throwers are super powerful, especially given they have more consistent knockback and gets you a good amount of distance. If you unlock them in an easier difficulty - it makes the Hard Campaign a breeze. I just spammed them along with archers, and then heavily used that poison cloud and tornado ability (occasionally buffing my army). Pretty consistent strategy.
